I wouldn't be too surprised if the plan for Team Khan is to go for the decision seeing that MAB hasn't ever been knocked out.

On the other hand, once Khan's in the ring I don't think he's going to be able to resist throwing one of his flurries, only problem being that Barrera's seen enough flurries in his day and it might not be enough to get the TKO.

A 12-rounder would depend on Barrera's fitness levels (and obviously a good punch could end it as well).

I reckon Khan should definitely throw in a few flurries (towards the very end of each round) to see how MAB handles them, and Roach can watch from the corner and decide if they're going to go for 12 or end it before.

Junior Jones put Barrera on his arse...albeit fter an accidental headbutt.... The reaction of the Barrera team was shocking.... I like Barrera.... But he is a very dirty fighter and I think Khan won't have the experiance to cope with what Barrera will put him through....if a shot Michael Gomez hurt Khan to the body even after Roaches work.... I see Barrera giving Khan nightmares.....I hope to see a close fight....I want Khan to win but I'm sure Barrera will win.

Also win, lose or draw...... Khan eventually has to move up to light welter to become more steady.... I know he hasn't the best chins (in fact probably one of the worst)....however by moving up in weight it will make it easier for him to make weight and give him more strength and hopefully punch resistance. He might grow like how Cotto grew when he moved up in weight and looked a lot less shaky.... Cotto and light welter was shaken by Maliggnagi (or at least backed up) he was put down by Torres and shaken by others....but moving up he has looked a lot less shaky.... Khan has to do likewise......has to win an alphabet title quickly....beating the easiest champion out there - as he has no chance against JMM @ 135 IMO.....and then moving up.....Where he would probably have to face Hatton/Pacman/JMM anyway.... then you could see china chinned Khan being multi-weight champion

Fair point about weight draining but i dont see it as an issue with Khan. He just hasnt got much in the way of punch resistance look at the knockdown v craig watson in the ams. He only gets a clip but hes all over the show from it.

Courage and heart tho full marks put him down but u have to keep him there...... Cause he always trys to get back up

The thing is if he fights defensive it gives Barrera a chance to take a breather collect himself and adapt his gameplan (if he needs to) Khan needs to be patient but if he just trys to jab and move MAB will start to look for the counters and probably find em. its tough one to call Khan needs to apply pressue form range but he has to find the right shot at the right time he has to get MAB to respect his power and speed without going too gung ho.

I cant wait for it - i just hope for no dodgy stoppages or contraversy about the result

agree..... I hope there's no nasty cuts that stops the fights....also i hope ref doesn't jump in to early if Khan is flurrying and Barrera covering up.....although I hope for the safety of both fighters.... I want to see a good close intense fight.....I want Barrera to put Khan to go through Hell and then come out and still win....that would do Khan a lot of good IMO

I think Amir has to hit and run and try to get Marco frustrated. How hard does Marco hit at the weight ? How many stoppages does he have over 130 ? I hope he wins, i don't enjoy Khans hype, if he earnt it fair enough but he has not. I think Amir wins a wide one, i just hope Marco gets to him and stops him.

I got a feeling this fight is going to see Khan on his bike for 12 rounds with MAB chasing him round the ring like a scene from a Benny Hill episode.

"Everyones got a plan until they get hit" - Iron Mike Tyson.

What happens when Barrera starts throwing shots with the intenstiy that Khan has not experienced before. He will get caught 12 rounds is a long time. Lennox Lewis shut out David Tua in a 12 round jab fest because he was by far the superior boxer. But Khan is not superior to Barrera.

Exactly ! Khan's plan to outbox Barrera would seem a good if he were in fact the better boxer, which of course he isnt.

It would be like Tua saying that his plan is to outbox Lennox Lewis regarding what you just said FLint lol.
