Sounds good until you hear the 'in Germany'. They know they can offer him that cuz it ain't gonna happen with Saurland being the "commission" that over sees the fight. BOGUS offer and they know it.

No bogus offer and stop "Germany is corruption" - this offer is better than everything Arum offered to stage it - exactly: nothing!

Bob Arum has enough connections and political power to have the final word on the international judges and the referee, or even making a list of officials he prefers and let Sauerland choose from that. The only outstanding biased officiating of the past few years was the scoring of several Valuev fights - and all that bull**** started when US promoter Don King got involved with the giant. With recent US scorings, like John and Martinez, some could even say that you have a better chance getting the correct decision in Germany, than in the US. Pavlik got a serious offer, I bet he would make less if Arum was the one to stage KP-AA.

I didn't say Germany. Yes or no. Saurland is a promoter AND the commission that oversees the fairness of the fight? There would have to be LOTS of negotiations on this one, including making sure it wasn't under the Saurland commission. I have long said, give the fighters lists of refs and judges and see if they can agree on the picks. Which of these two wouldn't like Steve, wake me when it is over, Smoger? Ref's would be tougher, but who's gonna need them?

I see I didn't read far enough before answering Tom. Yeah. Same page here. My only objection is that Saurland is also the commission. That just is not right. Period. Like him or hate him, I have never felt P2K was a liar, and he has documented, with some backup, some of the 'strange stuff'. Not just during the fight either. So, my bottom line would have to be, no Saurland commission involvment.

It's not a serious offer. Not when they know full well that KP has stated MANY times he will not fight in Germany. After what happened to Miranda, you certainly can't blame him.

Sauerland knows exactly what he needs to do to make the fight. Until Sauerland Events and Team Abraham take the appropriate actions, the rest is just bull****.

And fans who keep saying Pavlik is scared are just showing how little they know about boxing, and the men who make their living at it. Pavlik fought Hopkins, and fought Taylor twice, but he's scared of Abraham:patsch That makes about as much sense as pissin' in your boots to keep your feet warm.

Sauerland isn't "the commission" nor is he even the promoter but just AA's manager.

AA is promoted by Sauerland Event, CEO Chris Meyer.

The commission is the FVA - Fistfight Association of Austria which president is W. Palatin...
