bigears could have summed it up in a very short but precise way...

i think i will come of the fence i have been on and pick khan.

also, jeff thomas's piece on britishboxing.net sums it up very well too.

To be fair mate you dont need to be a puncher to give Khan trouble!.

    I predict the same.

Khan to come out and look fast and sharp and fit and focused and motivated and impressive and boxing well, but then Barrera will warm to the task and start letting them hands go and and gradually get to Khan and stop him in the seventh.

Of course this is just a rough estimate - I never take picking rounds too seriously, but I just expect Barrera to stop Khan around the mid way stage of the fight - so I will go for the seventh round.

For all people who doubt - yes there is no doubt Barrera IS a fading force.

This for me is more about Khan the doubts about him - all he has proven so far is he is British / Commonwealth level and then he was KO'd to a unknown. I dont think he is good enough.

Whos Frank Warrens source for Barrera being shot to ****?

Franks taking a chance - its just that people are so use to Warren being so negative in match making its a shock when he does actually take a risk.

I think he and everyone around him just want to see if Khan has got it or not.

The Bedis Prescott fight was over too quick to tell us anything other than what everyone suspected - than Khan has a **** chin.

But this fight will likely tell us more of Khans ability.

Khan will make the pace and establish the jab. He will have trouble finding holes in MABs defence but will be winning on work rate before hes countered and KO'd. Hope that im very wrong. MAB round 6/7.

Frank is cashing in! No matter what the result is hell have had one big pay day from him. And hes got another three Olympic cashcows to hype now. Warrens tone on Amir quickly changed once he signed those three.

I don't buy the "cashing in" angle, all of those 2008 Olympians have a hell of a long way to go before Warren can make any decent money out of them.

To an extent I agree about the Olympians, but with the three of them on the same bill hell get decent money from Sky. If Khan wins hes catapulted. If he loses closely, hes lost to MAB, no disgrace. If hes destroyed and loses it mentally, hes had a big pay day. A risk worth taking on his part. Hes cashing in!

I think any type of loss tonight for Khan spells serious problems in his career. I don't think Warren is ready to jump ship to his new batch of Olympians just yet....

If MAB isnt utterly shot I reckon Khan will get knocked bandy by the first stiff jab.

    MAB by KO inside 4.

Amir just does not have the durability to fight world class fighters.
