Khan apparently didn't just learn technique, strategy, and work ethic in his training with Pac. He is now emulating Pac by throwing his arms up in the air whenever he gets hit. Not that I think it's cool when Pac does it but as Khan was doing it, he came off as unoriginal and corny. I couldn't help to think it also symbolized his desperation to win over the crowd. What did you guys think?
It reminded me of Calzaghe showboating against Jones -- utterly ridiculous and laughable. With all the "Shwag" talk lately -- only guys with "Shwag" can pull that off.
It was pathetic. That is, totally befitting of Khan. Rui has it right: Next guy with a pulse who isn't headbutted in the 1st round and gashed open could likely end up as Prescott, Jr.
Like Pacquiao has got that hand raising move patented and trademarked. Fighters have always done that since the beginning of boxing.
While I was definitely impressed with Khan tonight. Great performance for him, and I bet it feels great for him after all of the criticism that he has taken. That annoyed the **** out of me. I hate when Pac does it, and I just wish that Khan wouldn't have done it.
Probably was a little nod to Pac. Could also have something to do with the fact everytime he gets tagged the crowd nearly sucked all the oxygen out of the arena. Just showing them he was still conscious. Hardly major showbaoting. Ola on the other hand was hysterical.
