Would be funny if Khan gets hit then raises his arms up, then gets hit again then gets KTFO.

Beenie would find that unoriginal and corny as well, as Nate has already pulled that off. Khan can do nothing original, because if he wins based on skill and speed difference, it's unoriginal corny, it happened before. If he gets KTFO, it's unoriginal and corny too, becuase he did that **** already.

Amir Khan must retire from the sport, because there's nothing he can do what is original.

I'm not a Khan hater and I made no official prediction on this fight. I just find it peculiar he threw his arms up in the air when he got hit which is obviously what Pac does. Considering that I have never seen him do it before, but admittedly haven't watched every round of every fight of his, it came off as "unoriginal and corny" to me.

Yeah because of coarse now anytime anybody does something that's already been done I'm gonna think it's unoriginal and corny.

    He most assuredly is not.

He is by far the fastest and most skilled 22 year old boxer at 135 lbs in the past thirty five years.

He is missing one major piece of the puzzle, a good jaw.

And he will have to make adjustments to his style to cover off that weakness.

But it's very possible that he can have a decent career.

I don't like it when any fighter does that kind of ****. Annoys the hell out of me when Pac does and annoyed me tonight when Khan did it.

yeah but you have to agree, he's obviously emulating pac. he's never done it before and now he's in the gym with pac all the time and suddenly he's throwing his arms up. not saying it's good or bad, its just obvious he's doing it cause pac does it.

What you and Janeschicken seem to believe is that this is a mark of show-boating.

    It isn't.

When Khan did it (and when Pac does it) it's to indicate that they haven't been hurt.

It usually follows a punch from the opponent.

Other boxers use different means to transmit the same message, usually a smile or a shrug, as if to say " That was nothing"

Often, when they send out such a message, it is for psychological effects, and sometimes they do it when they ARE hurt.

But for Kahn, this is not about showboating.

    Different issue: Joe and Roy.

These guys are friends, and the 'show-boating' in that bout (something Roy has done in nearly all of his fights) was a continuation of the banter and the back-and-forth the two engaged in before, during and after the fight.

Why don't folks find out what Roy thought about it before getting their knickers in a knot ?

It was actually sad to see him try to win over the British crowd. I mean here is a kid that won his country a medal in the Olympics was and is very proud of being British.

He got booed at the weigh in, he got booed during the ring entrance, and got booed during the intro all in his backyard. That was unbelievable!

The fact that Khan is a Pakistani Muslim ethnicity and will never be accepted by vast majority of the Brits as their own, this is an element of alienation. Ofcourse you have people sugar coating their reason with BS as Khan is cocky and arrogant. I mean does anyone honestly see any arrogance cockiness in his personality in this young man.

British have a thing against Pakistanis no matter what they will never accept a Paki as their own simple as that! Khan was throwing his arms up in the air asking his own people to cheer for him thats sad!
