Your unbeaten contender struggled with Carl Daniels, and his last opponent was a guy McKart beat in a tune-up after 2 years off.

Rubio's last fight at 154 was in 2006.

Mora had exactly 2 fights at 154. The rest were at 160. Do even follow boxing?

He could've removed "light" middles and the point would've still worked...useless middleweights. Although, Mora does belong at 154 whether he wants to campaign there or not.

Pavlik/Mora is NOT a done deal. KP did not even know about it until a reporter called him. AND, I'm the one who started the Boycott Pavlik/Mora thread!

Mora looks like ****ing Skeletor at 160. He does not belong at 154. He fought in the 2000 Olympic trials in the same division as Pavlik and Taylor.

Rubio earned his shot. ****, he'd be one of Arthur's better wins.

if earning his shot is winning a weak ABC mandatory, then whatever. Rubio has a soft resume. He's decent. Nothing more. And was no threat to KP and it was basically a homecoming fight.

Mora- he can barely beat Manfredo at 160. I'm with you on the boycott. Not a hard sell.

Actually Manfredo and Brinkley are Mora's best wins at 160. Manfredo fights at 168 and Brinkley fights as high as 175. That pretty much closes the "Mora belongs at 154" argument. And I started a ****ing BOYCOTT thread! What more can I do?

Correct, Mora doesn't belong at 154 so people shouldn't use that argument.

But Mora's best win has to be Forrest and not Manfredo or Brinkley.

Typo, I meant to say his best win at 160. I'm just really ****ing hot under the collar right now. All over this board Abraham's **** poor perfromance against a club fighter has magically become a reason to bash Pavlik. Makes no ****ing sense at all.

Rubio is actually much better than this Simon fellow. and how can you say Pavlik looked horrible? He didn't lose a round and made the guy quit on his stool as his trainers told him to continue... clearly you're a bias idiot.

No matter how many times you try to make Pavlik look "safe" a fight with Abraham needs to be made. Who else out there is a better opponent that Abraham?, please name them and enlighten us.

All this Abraham struggled with whoever means nothing really, hell Pavlik struggled and LOST one-sidedly to a 43 year old Bernard Hopkins in an attempt to make a statement to get Calzaghe in the ring.

Scores were 117-110, 118-109 and 117-110 by the way. But it was much closer than those cards indicate.
A lot of people go as far as saying that AA dominated and/or won every single round!!

At Scar: he went life and death with Ayala (before he stopped him) and Miranda (not a real nobody anymore but at that time still quite unknown and AA was supposed to beat him quite easily).

Last night, AA, because he at times looked foolish with his strange moves, reminded me a bit of Marco Huck: Very crude, no jab, wild and poor technique.

At Scar #2: I'm not talking about Pavlik in this post and I'm solely trying to analyse AA here. If you think that Pavlik is not (fighting) better (opposition) than AA than that's your conclusion but I can't/won't judge on that.;)
