And still won by wide UD. And still staggered Simon in 4 different rounds. And still blocked 80% of all punches. Pretty impressive from a drained fighter, is that what you're saying?
By the way, Sauerland just said in German TV that AA will fight Vernon Forrest in the States in June by 90-95%.
Lajuan Simon normally fights above 160... I think he's been in the 170's once... The fact is if Lajuan who's been 160 or below 3 times (including this fight) didn't have a big problem making weight, then AA shouldn't have too much of an issue... He fought a tough guy tonight.... A taller fighter with some toughness to him.... I guess this is their way of prepping for Pavlik, who's chin is probably not as good as Lajuan's...
AA looked really bad tonight. Can't believe how winded he was. If Simon had more power, AA is KO'd tonight. Still, props to both. AA hung tough and got the win (but not by the scores he was given), and Simon showed good heart, chin and stamina.
Then it's time to make a fight with Pavlik, the fans want it, Abraham wants it and the division wants it.
That is insane. Pavlik only walks around at 175. You can find a lot of posts from me littering this forum about doing away with the day before weigh in. Thing is, Hatton, even at his size blows up that big and cuts off even more. Why is he not weight drained? :think
You can't use that as a comparison, there are many factors that contribute to a persons weight, just because Bernard is taller doesn't mean he is naturally heavier. Abraham look weight drained when you see him on the scales, he looks unhealthy, IMO it's best he moves up.
