So poor that you can afford an internet connection and a computer....I see. I like and respect Pac but you ****in' clowns who hang off his nuts are truly pathetic, you won't have a bad word said against him and take it personally if some one brings up a flaw. He is good, he is not God.
Internet cafe access costs around less than US$ 0.50 cents an hour here You gotta understand that most of the Pacquiao supporters here just react to what they feel is an undeserved, negative comment that is given to Pacquiao. You can count with one hand the Pacquiao supporters here who shoot first.
And nobody thinks he is a god. Only Amsterdam says his favorite boxers are gods. You guys habitually bunch together the 80 million people in the Philippines that are proud of and who deeply enjoy Manny's accomplishments to the handful of people who go overboard sometimes on boxing messageboards.
let me take this one boys. what most posters here say that pac fans think he is a god. not true. he is just like any of us but he has risen from the depths of poverty (like a phoenix) to reign on top of the mythical p4p ratings. he sheperds his people, shares his gifts with the impoverished and makes them believe that they shall overcome their oppression. he heals the sick and poor by funding hospitals. the people delight at the miracles he performs in the ring. after his early defeats as an malnurished child he still kept the faith. why most posters here have to crucify him and his fans, i'll never understand.
You've seen all the photoshopped pictures of him. Filipinos make fun of his image all the time. They make pictures of him fighting king kong, or being the hulk, or being superman, or having a sexy woman's body, etc. etc. We dont think he's some god that does no wrong. We make fun of his goofy moustache and his hammy acting and terrible singing all the time. He's more like a Filipino everyman. I'm almost his age, I'm just younger by a few years, and I've followed his career since the mid 1990's. It's like he's that nice, poor kid from down the street that we used to play with when we were kids, and he's all rich and famous now. Like he's one of us, and we're proud to have known him and we're proud of how much he's achieved.
All the forwarded text message jokes about Pacquiao are hilarious. If you guys could only understand the Filipino language, you'd see how we make fun of him. We like what he does in the ring, but he isnt immune from criticism and ridicule and spoofing back home in the Philippines.
Maybe it's because of the reports that say the whole nation stops whenever he fights, and crime rates drop to near zero during the time period when his fights are being broadcasted. Maybe they think that we see him as some god and the whole country stops for him. I compare it to the whole of England stopping to watch their football team play when, let's say they reach the world cup finals. Everybody probably tunes in and everybody wants to see history unfold and cheer for their team. That's what we feel when there's a big Pacquiao fight.
i can see you're that stupid.. you actually believed you're being robbed by that. **** that's stupid..
