How can you say that? If Pascal, who isn't known for his chin or ring-craft/experience survived without even going down, why shouldn't Taylor?

    :huh

The Pascal fight has cast doubt over Froch's alleged punching power but I think on that night Pascal was a formidable opponent, bigger and with a 'thicker coat' than Taylor, as Sugar Shane would say.

I've only seen one of Pascal's previous knockdowns and it looked more loss of balance more than anything. Sloppiness on Pascal's part more than having a weak chin.

Remember the same fella that went twelve rounds with Bute got knocked out in two rounds by Froch so I think that proves he has heavy hands at the very least. And he's a natural super middle where as Taylor's natural weight is not known.

There's no way Taylor will take them shots all night. It will be same as Pavlik in that he will take them well for a long while and then one punch will just tip him over the edge and stiffen his legs.

You should watch the fights! Then, look how many weeks after Bute put a beating on him, he got to fight Froch. And guess who the referee was...

It wasn't the Tatevosyan fight that proved Froch's power. If the Pascal fight proved anything was not so much that Froch didn't have power, but that that power counted for little if he couldn't hit the other guy much, when he wasn't expecting it.

Taylor will avoid most of Froch's telegraphed, slow shots. He has a very good chance of surviving the 12 rounds...better than Pascal, for sure, imo.

Yep, for the early part he will, but Froch is a suffocating fighter whose constant pressure will grind Taylor down. When Taylor is weary, he gets sloppy and will walk right into that telegraph pole.

Taylor has that gormless look on his face all the time. He's naive. By his own admittance he's not a student of the game, preferring rather to use his natural talents and instincts. He just doesn't fill me with confidence that he can keep this dangerous hombre at bay for the full twelve. Ability wise, yes, mentally, no.

The quote above is where I stopped listening. I heard that, and found no reason to go any further.

All Jermain needs to do is blister and move for 8 rounds. After that, conserve his energy a bit by throwing quick 2-3 punch combos, and tie Froch up when he's done punching. That doesn't make the most exciting fight, but it's the right plan.

    Jones > Calzaghe
    De la Hoya > Pacquaio
    Margarito > Mosley

Just a few of the big-fight picks Dwyer has made recently; all turned into one-sided beat downs for the other guy. What does that say of his "analysis"?

The ONE time he picked the underdog (Jones), he was wrong.

    "Gamble" at your own risk.

I've seen this video posted on a few different sites and without fail the only ones who ever give it any credence are Froch fans.

After all, they are the only ones misguided enough to believe that Froch is a calculating chessplayer of a fighter (like Hopkins) and that Pascal is better than Taylor (hell, most of them don't even believe THAT, if it tells you how off this Dwyer character is).
