Why do some british fans hate Khan so much? The hype? Khan must have felt awfull hearing his fellow brits cheering the Naz(another minority) destroyer.
For much the same reasons that a lot of the English hated David Beckham, who's white, and I'd say is a better footballer than Khan is a boxer. i.e. too hyped, too much too young, too media-friendly, too many non-sport fan fans that just think of him as a showbiz star etc. As far as cheering Barrera, the guy's a legend, and Brit or no Brit, whatever race, Naz was an arrogant ****er and most Brits like to see such characters get their commupance.
i guess i can see your point, but cheering for his opponent on his own turf is taking it to a new level.
I don't know if Khan has a bird and if she was there, but assuming there is one and she was, I never heard anyone singing "do you take her up the arse" so I'd say I've seen worse - at least at football games.
If I recall correctly they (Majority of English Boxing fans) seemed to hate on Lennox Lewis a lil' bit in the beggining aswell. It will take some time, but they will hop on his (Khan's) nutz in do time.
