    Q. Should the fight be a NO CONTEST?
    A. Yes, the cut was as bad in the 5th round, as it was in the 1st.

    Q. Would barerra have won, if he didnt head butt khan?
    A. Cut or no cut, Barerra was clearly getting beaten and would have lost more rounds than khan. Most likely would have lost a descision.

    Q.Could barerra knock khan out?
    A. Yes he had the power and could have earlier in the fight. As the fight went on the barerra explosiveness would have weaked and so would the chances of knocking khan out. If he was going to win by KO he would have done it in that 4th round when he went all out.

    Q. How shot is barerra?
    A. That fight didnt show much but barerra isnt totally shot, he holds his position as a top lightweight rightfully, especially in such a dangerous division.

    Q. Would khan have stopped barerra?
    A. It could have happened in the later rounds. khan was landing too much leather. No enough to knock barerra clean out but the british referee would have eventually stopped it if he kept losing the rounds and taking punishment.

    Q. Did we Brits pull a sly one?
    A. Yes I think it was purposley allowed to go past the 4th round so it wouldnt be a N/C. I think the doctor had that thought in the back of his mind when he was looking at the cut. (just my opinion)

    Q. Am I happy that my prediction of the fight being like dela hoya and chavez beating come true?
    A. No becuase its not good watching someone get stopped on cuts especially when you paid money for it.

    Q. conclusion?
    A. this fight showed me nothing new about Amir khan or barerra. I knew exactly how it was going to go, as i've seen khan in training. I also sed he was gona get wobbeled IF he got tagged but will come back to stop barerra

    Yeah, I mentioned DLH-Chavez too.

But I also think the cut would've opened without the headbutt, with all the punches Amir threw and landed, just a round or two later. He didn't land jaw cracking shots, but the tune-up cut area (never properly healed) was in a bad position, anything landed higher than the nose area or slipped/ducked punches would've opened it up sooner or later, and it'd have been ruled a TKO. That's why I picked Khan by TKO, not because of punching power or something.

you cant say that though really can you seeing as he was cut so early.we didnt see much of a fight before the cut so thats a moot point.

I thought Khan boxed well.He was clearly wining the fight. The cut was an accident,he looked the best he has since turning pro_Ok Barrera was past it but he was still dangerous and had plenty of expierence.Khan looks good under Freddie Roach.

maybe but its stretching it abit sayin barrera would've lost a decision with no cut after only a couple of minutes.

Agreed. I think in the circumstances Warren and the like would've considered it a better end all round for Kahn to get the win on his record, and also for the viewers and spectators to see a result (especially the 'Coming of Age' story they wanted).

IMO, if anything i think the cut does more favours for Barrera than Kahn, as it overshadows the fact that Kahn (on all the evidence on show last night) would've beaten him fairly comfortably.

So yeah, not really fair or sporting, which sucks for a legend like MAB, but that's the business I suppose.

Can the Barrera nuthuggers dry their tears and stop moaning. Khan did all he could from his point of view...nothing more we could ask from him. That is all. Did his job, SIMPLE AS.

Before the cut and even round 2 and 3 after the cut when it wasnt that much of a problem Khan was too sharp too fast and too elusive for Barrera. Cut was really bad in the 4th and 5th but not nearly as bad before that. Barrera himself seemed shocked and confused with Khans speed in the first round.
