If Pavlik-Abrham doesn't happen soon, then AA needs to forget about it and move up to a weight he doesn't have to kill himself to make, I.e 168.

A fighter is as good as his last fight. Nothing shows that better than the postings @ a boxing board.:nut

Abraham looked very bad, i havent seen him so bad in years. Not that he fights that different when in shape, but he looked tired to me from the beginning. His whole body language looked bad, as if he had no desire to be in the ring at all. He looked like there is no pop in his flurries.
To me Abraham lacks the motivation to prepare and perform good against an unknown opponent like Simon. He made clear he wants big fights and he is frustrated he cant get them. He should go to 168, in this shape a fight vs. Forrest, like its obviously planded, would be a toss up.

So what are your thoughts on the potential Abraham/Forrest fight? I think it's a great idea. The only danger is that Vernon is a cagey old *******, and could make AA look bad, so there is some risk involved, but if Arthur went out and got the job done in impressive fashion, he'd run Arum completely out of excuses.

this is a good example for all the boxing scrubs who think we should "build up more interest" before matching big time fighters.....
abraham is bored and didnt look good. i truly believe he wants big time fights, but hes been around long enough he needs to start calling his own shots

If the Forrest fight gets made, Sauerland will finally be doing what Arum ask him to do ages ago. I gave AA his props for fighting Miranda in Edsion's back yard, but one fight on Showtime does not raise public awareness all that much. The Marquez fight was originally suppose to be shown in the states on a really cheap independent PPV, but when AA post poned due to the flu, that got nixed. Forrest is well known and generally respected. The rumour is Showtime wants that fight. If it comes off, and AA wins big, that would probably do the trick.

Lol, the fact that you actually need to prove yourself by writing that just shows how insecure and sad you are...that and the fact that you get all worked up about people not sharing your opinion.Pathetic.

Well, Pavlik had a chance to make 3mill $ to fight that chump named Abraham but for some reason his promoter didn't want it. I guess 1mill $ against Mora was a better deal...Mora is a solid fighter, and not a limited chump like Abraham.
