Khan plans to fight for the vacant WBC title later this year; 5 opponents available

    Frank Warren has big plans for Amir Khan as he attempts to rebuild Khan's marketability following his upset loss to Breidis Prescott. Beating a 60 year old half blind Marco Antonio Barrera was a good start. Warren has had contact with WBC Chairman Jose Sulaiman and has prepared Khan with a shot for the vacant WBC lightweight title against the following 5 potential opponents:

    1.) Izzy Alive
    2.) Tom A. Toekan
    3.) Earl E. D. Parcher
    4.) Shay-Ki Chin (based out of Asia)
    5.) Erik Morales

    According to Warren, all would be suitable opponents for Khan to fight for his first title shot. I'll keep you guys posted on the negotations!

    Good for him, I'm not sure how beating an old Barrera gets you a title shot, but still good for him.

    Haven't heard of them, wonder if they can test Amir's chin though, should be a good fight whoever out of the 5 Warren chooses.

    Izzy Alive will be an easy win for Khan. He's a static fighter barely moves, infact I dont think Ive ever seen him move!

    Shay-Ki Chins record is like 17-87 but he has 13 KO's . Warren won't let Khan anywhere near him. Plus he's the same size as Khan and has never worked as a mechanic.

    I can remember one of Khans opponents was a chain smoker.
