Support for Khan, the most hated fighter.

Khan is absolutely nothing like Hamed. Different weights, different styles, different personalities, different eras. The only think they have in common is a British passport. Plus, Hamed is a minor legend, and as of now, Khan has achived nothing at all.

Fans who think khan is better than the likes of barrera? think his horrible amateur style, stuck out chin and pulled punches, telegraphed 1-2, his habit of tripping over his own feet (good foot-work my balls, how about you watch a few of his ****ing fights) is Future hall of fame material? fans who will join boxing clubs and fight like amir khan? the sport does ot need them mate.

Keep religion the **** out of boxing, and keep morons who hop on any fighters bandwagon because of religion THE **** OUT OF BOXING. Keep fighters with so many glaring amateur errors that every trainer, opponent,fan and pundit has remarked upon them from being labelled as "Britains Floyd Mayweather" LMAO LMAO LMAO LMAO if floyd saw that he wouldnt call amir a "paki", he would knock the absolute **** out of him

now how come a "racist" like me likes david haye, tyson, ali(who made plenty of racist statements) yet hates amir khan? because he is ****ing ****, the amount of posts on here and world-wide articles and money being generated regarding this joke who hasnt even won the british title yet is sickening. comparing him to barrera and eubank/calzaghe/mayweather when he hasnt even proved hes better than john murray. go learn a thing or two before you call me out son.

Khan bandwagon nuthuggers are one of these two things: a bandwagon Khan nuthugger or a Hamed/Khan nuthugger despite not having seen either of them fight in more than one occasion.

 

cant blame someone for making money off the back of an olympic medal but it is weird someone seemingly progressing from a loss and facing a legend - shouldnt the guy doing the knocking out get the opportunities? (not sure what Prescott doing now but he should definitely get a money rematch with khan for khan's sake too - to try and avenge his loss)

Be interesting to see how Khan progresses and whether he has power to trouble the higher echelon fighters in his weight cos no matter how good his defence improves he will always look like a disaster waiting to happen. Could be some entertaining but short fights ahead.

Dont think the hate is racism but it might be jealousy (or more a sense of unfairness) as the original poster pointed out. People like to think the world is fair where those with the most merit get the rewards and Khan proves the world doesnt work like that. Cant blame him for trying to cash in and although the MAB fight doesnt prove too much he got through it. I like khan and dont think he is arrogant just confident but i would never bet on him against anyone with hands.

 

I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that the majority of the animosity towards Khan is motivated by racial hatred.

 

i neither hate nor like khan. but he's again one of those many british fighters overhyped by their british fans and the UK media. the guy hasn't even had 20 fights and hasn't achieved anything in his pro career yet and ppl from the UK are already hailing him as some elite ATG fighter and the 2nd coming of lennox lewis. many UK boxing fans here should get a grip, be more objective and realistic when it comes to their countrymen's actual boxing ability and class as a fighter.

 

is that why the only title fwanky is angling for is the WBO? is that why he's been so desperate to get saturdays fight set up as an eliminator? because of course he doesn't plan on manipulating the WarrenBoxingOrganisation rankings to protect his glass jawed, hyped up cash cow whatsoever all the while parading him as a genuine p4p talent, not at all.
