So the fact that the man couldn't see from the blood in his eye never enetered your mind ?

It wasn't an ownage, but Khan was so in control right from the opening bell, MAB had no answers, and Khan was clearly hurting him.

For a start Khan didnt butt him.

I dont think Khans power was causing trouble for MAB.

It was the speed, size and movement that was making him look silly, and without the cut you would have been treated to 12 rounds of Khan making an ATG look stupid. Would you have prefered that.

And to those saying "MAB could have caught him with one great punch late", if you would have prefered to see a great like MAB battered for 12 rounds, relegated to that of someone who relies on the hope of a lucky punch then we are very different.

It was always going to ba lose/lose fight for Khan, but this was by far the worst outcome he could have got. Even if he had been KO'd in 5 after a great scrap with a MAB that looked good, would have been a better outcome than this for people.

How would you see a rematch going by the way?

It should have been stopped in the 1st. A no contest and they could be talking about an immediate rematch. Going out on your shield? I don't know if that is a real heathy way to go. Example; Margarito vs Mosley. His corner could have said that it is enough due to the beating knowing he did not have all his senses in that last round, but goes out and he could have ended up like McClenon. MAB also. His corner should have looked at the doctor and asked to see his medical license. Walk away and live to fight another day. Mr. Guerrero did this and there is no sham especially if it is going to affect your sight and take a beating you knew wouldn't happen if it weren't for the cut. A fan might not understand this, but I am sure most fighters on here do.

I dont think Marco was hurt at all, but i do think he was not being allowed to get set to fight with any venom, i think the cut ruined a great night, and Marco was hurt by his own retirement , his lost time away from the ring changed him quite a lot.. he wasn't the atg we all knew and loved, he came to win but really was a shadow of his former self, Khan did look great nontheless.....

Did he want to continue or not ?

As i saw it, he wanted to continue round 1-4 but quit in round 5 ????

Why didn't he just stat, that he was in no conditions to continue right after the headbut in round 1 ????

    big excuse.

    - MAB wanted to continue in round 4.

    - MAB corner didn't throw the tower or stop the fight.

Barrera lost but Im pissed about the ****ing cut. He had blood in his eyes from the first. He likely would have lost anyways, but I feel as though that kind of taints the victory a bit.

I agree. Even if Khan didn't knock him down, he was battering him almost at will, during any second of those 5 rounds. Without the cut it would've been one of those 12 round beatdowns that many fighters unfortunately suffer late in their career. Barrera should be lucky. He can retain his pride by thinking the cut lost him the fight and avoid a 12 round beating. At this point, there is no way he's going to beat Khan.

Also notice how Khan backed off when he had Barrera in trouble on the ropes. He fought a controlled fight and dictated anything that happened.

The cut was a result of Marco headbutting Khan
