    Perfect example of internet idiocy.

Taylor is not a world beater but has shown himself to be among the very best in the sport. But it's easy to make someone out to be a chump from behind a keyboard, isn't it?

I've seen him listed anywhere from 11-25 in the p4p rankings. How many of you are in the top 25 in the world at what YOU do? And jerking off doesn't count.

People (understandably) dislike the fact that Taylor was HBOs no. 1 posterboy for a couple of years - and as a reaction Jermain is now being ridiculously underrated.

I certainly see him winning belts and becoming a 3 division champion.

Overrated? He beat Bernard Hopkins twice! They were both extremely close fights and could of gone either way. No matter who you think won the 2 fights; they were extremely close. Bernard Hopkins is one of the best pound for pound fighters today! I'd say Jermaine Taylor is a pretty good fighter.

Sriously though, I think he definitely has a SMW World title in him. From what I've seen I think him and Bute are both just behind Kessler in the division. Taylor should decision Froch as long as he dosn't iced like against Pavlik.

3 division world champ before he retires and caps of a near HOF career. If Kessler doesn't fight a live body soon and meets Taylor before he does I think he's gonna lose. The one time Kessler fought good opposition (Calzaghe) he lost, Kessler is very untested and if he doesn't get in there with the likes of Bute and other top supermiddles before facing Taylor I would go with Taylor for the win due to Kessler not being able to handle the big jump up in opposition level. Taylor's already fought and beat better than Kessler.

Taylor will hand Froch his ass and make it look EASY. After that he can beat Bute at the moment, and is probably 50/50 with Kessler. However, after he shuts Froch down, he should try to get Bute as soon as possible, because that kid is improving fast.

Down the drain. He lacks commitment and almost seems unwilling to take advice and believes he is right all the time.

I think he was a very good fighter and he fought too tough a schedule and now he is washed up a little. Yeah it happens. He took a tough road. Then he lost to Pavlik and I think he is an old fighter now. There are ways to preserve skills.

I think that when it's all said and done....WHEN IT'S ALL SAID AND DONE, mind you, that people will talk about who the greatest to ever fight was - mentioning Ali, Robinson, Taylor and just a few others.

90% of the posts in this thread are ****ing ******ed.

To be comparing Taylor to people like Bute and Froch is insulting to ATG champions like Hopkins, Calzaghe and Jones Jr.
