I was the one of the people who said . . . I'm giving Khan respect if he Ever beats MAB even if MAB was already past his prime. But . . . Jesus . . . not on that kind of win . . . not on that note. STOPPAGE due to accidental headbutt??? :huh :-(
yeah its tough to file that win away as something worth bragging about if you are khan...right when i saw that cut i was like "aw **** here we go." im sure khan would like to have beaten a fully healthy mab, but then again, he may not have beaten a fully healthy mab
he would earn my respect if he got back in there with presscot next. as it stands, he has great potential, but this fight proved nothing to me.
No doubt it should have been NC and called after the 3rd round, but give Khan his due, he fought well and had a good performance.
It wasn't the best way to win but lets hope he fights prescott again, or he is officially a total *****.
He would have TKO'd him anyway. Barrera is old and not a lightweight. Amir is too quick and his defense has improved. I give him credit for the impressive style of this win, cut or no cut, but I hope he rematches Prescott to see how he fairs again.
If he did get back in the ring with Prescott and beat him you'd sing a different tune and say Prescott is a nobody so Khan gets no respect.
I didn't watch the fight live . . . I watched it only 10 mins ago on TAPE . . . and MAB was just starting to heat up even with the cut and take note that cut was really bothering MAB. If the doctor felt it's a big factor why wait after the fourth round to stop the fight? It should have been a no contest if that was before the fourth. That made me thinking.
I just can't inderstand why people were going to give Khan that much credit for beating this version of MAB in the first place. Khan did a good job but MAB needs to retire.
The cut was not being questioned . . . dick head. The point is . . . it's not a win that Khan can brag about. :deal
