Would it be a good or Bad thing for the Heavyweight Division if Juan Carlos Gomez pulled off the upset Against Vitali Klitschko? I personally would love to see it , although I think it's unlikely to happen..that way we get rid of Vitali hopefully for good and it'll open up the Heavyweight title picture a little more.

It would be a great thing, as it means unification could happen in the HW division. Oner isn't afraid to put his fighters in tough fights, he'll just try to cheat if he thinks his fighter is about to lose.

It would be fantastic for the heavyweight division, absolutely. Juan bveating Vitali would open things up a bit, and Wladimir losing is inevitable over the next year or two.

Imagine a pre fight presser with Haye and Gomez's mouth's. Superb.

    We can only dream.

He has good chances cuz Atlas picked Vitali.
On the other hand Atlas only picked him cuz it's on his channel so it was a forced pick.

It would be great. Wlad would fight him and unify.

The only chance Gomez has to win this fight is by injury. If he can injure Vitali in the ring he can win. Otherwise he is going to get out boxed and then (T)KOed in the middle to late rounds.

The question is can Gomez cut Vitali or make him throw out a shoulder or back etc.?

It would be good for boxing as Wlad would finally have a rival. But it won't hapen. Vitali is too big, strong, fast and athletic for Gomez. All Gomez has the advantage in is being mouthy.

It'd be tremendous actually. It would be a great win for JC Gomez and then him against Wlad would be a big fight for the division.

I think Gomez has a chance, a real chance. He is a good mover and quicker than VK plus VK hasnt been in a difficult match for a while - Sam Peter is a lumbering punch bag who was made for a comebacking Klitschko. Gomez will be moving, using angles and he'll make VK work a lot more, his can make Vitalis ageing knees an issue.

Saying that I think Vitali stops him late.:D
