Hmm. None of them said ANYTHING. "It'll be a hard night's work." "Be in shape." "He's a world class operator." They could have at least tried to address how their styles match up. Isn't that what analysts are supposed to do?
Froch: ...after having won the belt in such a fancy style against Pascal." His mom told him he was great too often. We'll see what Carl is worth next month. Jean Pascal was also unproven, so we are still wondering how good Froch is. That will be a good fight.
Oups. Sorry. I was doing other things when I listened to it. Freud would say it tells what I really think of Froch more than what he really says.
froch seems like a classy guy. looking forward to seeing him and taylor go at it and hopefully my boy taylor can win it.
Froch seems like a good dude. He doesn't seem like the ******* everyone is portraying him as. I think him and Calzaghe just have personal issues to take care of.
I've not heard him once describe how he plans to beat Taylor, or seen where any of the UK analysts who seem to favor him actually do a break down of the fight and say what Froch needs to do to win it. I'd particularly like to see them address what Froch needs to do to make it through the first 8-9 rounds while managing to take some points off Taylor.
Converesely, an analysis of how and why JT wins a WIDE UD can be summed up in two words: Speed Kills:ko
Taylor's handspeed is good but not blistering... definitely better than Froch's though. However, the fact that he's got good handspeed and works behind a solid jab is what is going to really pose problems for Carl, I think.
Oh boy oh boy am i excited. It's going to be a solid card.. Green/Deleon jr is one hell of a cofeature.
I just have a hard time pinning my confidence in JT. He just has these mental laps during fights like when he is backed into a corner he just fights like a madman wasting energy. Or he wastes energy throwing power punches at somebodies guard. It is just funny that in all these years he has not learned how to knock people out. He has the power to do so but he does not throw the shots that can when they count. He is more of a paradox than Zab. And the fact that he cant fight on the inside being with his fighting style it should be easy to learn to do more than just clinch. I think he will win this b/c Froch does not apply pressure damn near at all and just looks for the one punch. He wont find it b/c JT actually does have decent defense and that jab to keep Froch from setting up anything with too much power. But you never know with JT.
