I don't want to concentrate on this fight, because the fight we really need is Pavlik v. Abraham...but...off the top of my head, quickly:

Bute would have a good chance to hurt Abraham to the body whilst Abraham keeps a tight head-guard. Anyone can be hurt to the body if you catch them just right, and no one would be as strong or hard after being caught well a couple of times. Bute would have to beware Abraham's explosive attacks and hooks. Abraham could easily clock Bute good, but it's not that likely that he'd catch him so flush and hard that he'd KO him right there and then. Bute's chin is good and he'd get up off the floor, and probably manage to survive...This would be a 65/35 in favour of Bute by decision, for me. Bute would spar with Diaconu for this fight, and that would prepare him very well for Abraham, whereas Abraham would not have that easy a time preparing for Bute, a tall SP with good movement and speed who can counterpunch as well as set up fast one off attacks.

Depends on how Abraham is at 168.If he'd have better accuracy and output he'd knock Bute out,he is very good at counterpunching when the other guy leads.

You are saying the same old things the PAv fans are saying about AA. Say something new. The first real fight Bute was in, he had to be saved. You said ask Berrio and zuniga is Bute hits hard...lol. Now THAT... makes me laugh lol...

    Abraham knocks him out cold.

Bute can beat PAvlik, but not Abraham.

Maybe I am the one that is wrong when I say that a guy doesn't hit hard. Let me clarify myself. Punches hurt, but fighters train to take hard shots. Knocking out bums or knocking down guys is one thing...knocking out good comp is another.

It is rare when the top guys face each other that ko's happen. AA says he likes to fight tall guys because when they get close, he can counter them when they get too close. Anyone can throw straight punches and hurt a guy, but when you have to throw other punches in your arsenal to try to hurt a guy, Bute doesn't have much after that straight left. Ayala and ikeke didn't give AA trouble imo...Miranda did. Miranda was aggressive with AA when AA didn't punch, and countered good when AA opened up. Bute's doesn't have the power to gain AA's respect, but this is jmo.

Bute is a jab and tap while on the move all night long type of guy. The guy is not rugged or powerful or just plain not as brutal AA can be. The guy that puts Bute on the can will be a power guy who bangs. Abraham is exactly the prototype to brutally KO this long thin necked guy from Canada.

AA by brutal stoppage after Bute has tapped him a few rds.

Funny you mention this because I really think that AA would knock out Andrade. Andrade is easy to hit so the big winding shots from AA would land at least a couple of times. I wonder how the mental man would take these bombs.

As for Bute vs. AA, i've seen NOTHING in AA that Bute can't counter. Nothing.

Simon stunned AA with a shot in the 8th or 9th round and AA had to chicken dance all around the ring to hug Simon. Can you imagine Bute connecting???

    Bute is a BIG SMW.:rasta

Lets go along with you and say Simon hurt AA lol. There isn't a boxer in history who has never been stunned. You guys make a mountain out of a mole hill lol. Chavez has been hurt, Hagler, Chuvalo...every fighter with a chin has been hurt wobbled or grabbed the other opponent when stunned.

I just watched the fight again and I can definitely say AA wasn't stunned (as mentioned before)

    And your point is???

MY point, since you're asking me so nicely was that, Simon doesn't hit 10% as hard as Bute. And isn't even 10% as quick.

Anyways Nallege, I can't argue with you. I've read your posts. They are uninteresting really. You obviously don't like Bute and can't make a objective assessment. When you'll be able to, we can talk again.
