Prescott's rubbish, and Khan will probably blow him away; but if he connects to the glasswork, it's lights out like last time.
atta boy. i for one didnt think they would even consider it, but props for facing the guy that iced you sick.
Khan's game plan was to strike first and overwhelm Prescott, didn't realise Prescott wasn't 5"6 and actually had a longer reach than him.
No point in taking that fight. It proves nothing. Prescott hasnt established himself as top LW yet. Khan will not be given any credit for it should he win.
avenging his only defeat legitimizes himself to the boxing public. and, they'll probably use it as a springboard fight into a title match if he wins.
He won't be given credit!?!?of course he will!!Beating Prescott, will psychologically be of such importance to Khan. I say take the fight prove that it really was just a one punch lucky, but **** me, do not get KO'd in 50 secs again.
Even if Khan does outbox Prescott (I assume it will be at least an eight-rounder ) at some point Prescott is gonna' clock on and go....well, it was easy last time. I'll just windmill him, I'm stronger, I have a long reach, I'm just gonna smash his guard until his arms can't take it anymore, and then punch him on the chin. Prescott is a bad styles matchup for Khan. But if Khan can put on a kinda'...hmm upright Sweet Pea, whereas, instead of dodging every punch, he just keeps turning his opponent over and over, and wins it on points over 12 or eventually stops Prescott, I might just believe he can avoid ever being hit again. Thus he will be unstoppable. Honest prediction? This time round, Prescott K.O 4
I agree with you in that Khan would most probably beat Prescott this time around. However, it only takes one shot in Boxing & let's face it, if Prescott lands cleanly its over!
Also will Prescott want this fight? What if he thinks that hes proved he can KO him easily, hes looking forward towards title shot, has seen Khan has improved, but so what to him??He beat him already, he wants to move on now. Maybe....
