In my opinion Birggs going to war with Adamek twice is so much more of an achievement than anything Green or Mundine have done or ever will do. It also suggests to me that Briggs heart would make all the difference in a battle with either of them.

 

I think Briggs let himself down with the two Adamek fights. He should have won both, but he didnt have the killer instinct he had a few years earlier. He had heart yes, but he lost the killer instinct needed to beat a top fighter like Adamek. I think all the stuff with forgiving those in his past and coming to peace with life made him lose his edge.

he didnt throw enough but maybe it was because adamek was throws alot of punches.

Yeah i just felt he should have let his hands go more, and put a stop to Adamek, imo he didnt throw enough esp in the second fight.
but it is easier to say from the outside than being in there.

speaking for myself i liked and supported the guy but since his doco on fox the danny green story i have come to think the guy is a sore loser who loves himself.a couple of examples he thought he won Beyer 2 and would have got the nod anywhere but germany.claiming that having to lose 3kg of muscle mass was the reason he lost to mundine when anyone who reads these forums and boxing sites remembers how he raved on about how much better his diet,conditioning were under salas and then on the commentary of bad blood sees no problem with mundine jumping from MW to LHW saying oh he used to walk around at 90kg as a footballer(way back in 2000atsch).
in short i think he is a two faced wanker who loves himself a bit like mundine but at least mundine is openly a wanker.
