"Wlad won the coin toss. Haye is his prey. Vitali, as great as he was/is, is reaching that age where suddenly father time could diminish him. Joe Louis was 37-38 vs. Marciano. Lewis was 37 vs. Vitali. The time is coming when Vitali will begin to lose some of his greatness."

Good points but Vitali is a young 37 as he took 4 years off.

yeah like when wlad gave sultan 50-50 for their fight....he offered the same to valuev and maskaev for unification as well.

enough talk....haye needs to sign the contract and stfu. if he wants wlad, there is no excuse not to sign. otherwise, go fight another shopworn gatekeeper in london and wait for a madatory shot.

without the big british venue, haye has zero leverage to negotiate. he's an optional not a mandatory. wlad can go make 8 figures fighting almost anyone else.

this is a fight i want to see, i just hope haye doesn't bottle it :yep

why do you that? A signed contract sent to talks for months, contract after contract sent to Haye( signed) what more does Haye want

The biggest payday of his career along with 2 options (that Haye wanted) to equal a 3 fight deal worth more then what he has made to DATE in his career so far :deal..... I wish I could eat **** like that:D

The "unprofessional" came in after Haye couldnt or didnt secure the venue like he said he did. Wlad wanted a face to face meeting.. it was all set. Haye didnt show up to the meeting... he sent his lawyers instead and then would not answer the phone when called during the meeting.

I can see why Wlad got up set. Wlad is big on respect, give and take and for Haye to not show up was a bull**** move.

Right after he didnt show, Wlad stopped the talks. so where is the "spin" that I keep making?:oops::huh

So Chef, is there anything else that Haye is not happy about with the contract he has been sent at the moment that he wants changing or is it just a case of waiting for him to sign?

Looking at this whole situation objectively, it couldnt be more clear Haye has gotten cold feet, the tables have turned, he never imagined the hunter would become the hunted and Wlad is the hunter. He has nothing to say to the media, he is practically in hiding.

Haye will not sign by the deadline - he is not ready to be knocked out cold. But the bugger will have succeeded in stalling Wlad's career by a couple of months of precious time.

You dont go chasing someone the way Haye has only to not sign when theres a contract in front of him, he will sign it before the deadline but the way i see it is he's just trying to get on Wlads nerves and do it when he wants.

you are both right.... its down to 2 things IMO
He is waiting until the last minute to try and get under Wlads skin, and sign when his ego tells him to not when Wlad says to, also to get under Wlads skin, which will NEVER work

    or

He has second thoughts about all of it which is also a very real possibility:good

I guess we will find out on or before the 21st:good
