BHOP-Chalzaghe wasn't a ppv..why would this be???:huh Plus the economy was much better when BHOP fought Joe than it is now...
If Adamek just wins with a close decision, he's on my list. If he wins more impressively and actually stops him, he may crack in at #8 as far as I'm concerned. I consider Hopkins currently second best behind Pacquiao and just a notch ahead of JMM.
Because, generously speaking, Adamek stirs up a lot more interest in America than Calzaghe. In addition, there is a higher potential for a dramatic ending in this match up, then in the JC fight. All this adds up to more exciting ways to market this fight. I would not rule out a PPV here.
Adamek is a strong guy and I was very impressed in how he adapted in his last fight against Jonathan Banks, if your a Hopkins you should be worried because Adamek has great one punch power and this is new territory for Hopkins coming up to cruiserweight. Hopkins has the advantage in styles but Adamek is big and strong and is a skilled pressure fighter himself.. Adamek right hand can land and land big at that.
Really have to hand it to Hopkins if he goes thru with this.Very risky fight that should have everybody on the edge of their seat the whole twelve rounds even if Hopkins is comfortably ahead. If Hopkins starts to slow down in the later part of the fight, things could get real interesting real quick. If Hopkins wins this I would rank it up there with some of his best wins, given his age and size advantage of Adamek.
This will be a freaking great fight -- I can't wait. I like both guys and will just hope for a good bout.
