Yes, and the double jab crap gets old too. First off, no fighter against whom KP made the double jab work finished on his feet. Second, a good stiff double jab is generally thought of as a positive atrribute, and that has been true since boxing rings had ****ing ropes around them!

I think it's about money. Arum has been consistent with his story. He has not asked Sauerland to do anything other than raise Arthur's profile in the states. One problem on here is that we get a lot of idiots who seem to think raising Arthur's profile is Arum's job:patsch

If you honestly think KP look bad against Rubio, it's time to do what I should have done ages ago, and add you to my ignore list, because you are an idiot that knows diddley ****.

Arum has reason to question what he is told from the Pavlik camp after they hid the injury and bronchitis from him before the Bhop fight. My gut feeling though is that it is money. Arum and Saurland had a talk about what was needed to make the fight happen. Saurland took it to heart because they obviously started negotiating with Forrest before the Simon fight even took place. So they are both now against guys that split a pair of fights. Looks good. Not sure if Saurland gave Arum a "must happen by" date or not. Saurland knows Kelly wants to unify. Arum knows Abraham wants to unify. So......

a lot of people say pavlik looked bad against rubio. But then again, you'd tattoo the guys name on your arm and you're like 95 years old, i don't expect you to see the light.

Make me a list of all the rounds Pavlik lost in that fight, and explain why you scored them for Rubio.

just because pavlik hardly lost a round doesn't mean he looked good. he looked slower than usual, his punches were not on target and he looked clumsy.

he looked way better against miranda and taylor

Miranda and Taylor fought back. Rubio ran like a jack rabbit on crack:yep He came close to stinking the joint up. Pav did not put on a "best ever" type performance, but his use of the left hook was very good, and I liked the fact that he seemed to be going back to punishing the body; something he was known for as a prospect coming up. I saw stuff I liked and stuff I didn't like. Bottom line is he ***** slapped his mandatory into submission.

There is no good reason why Pavlik and Abraham aren't fighting. They've both no resorted to fighting JMWs. Perhaps Arum is being overprotective of Pavlik, perhaps team Abraham is being funny with the money. However, eventually fans will turn on Pavlik unless his team makes an honest effort to get Abraham in the ring.

WW is tricky. For starters you have 3 definate paper champs running around there. Berto, Clottey, and Cotto all collected vacated straps. Mosley is the only guy who beat the reigning champ to get his belt. There's no lineal champ though being that Mayweather retired with that status. I have no problem not calling Mosley a paper champ, and the winner of the Cotto/Clottey fight can shed the paper champ designation as well. Now if Mayweather comes back and someone beats him, they would be the recognized champ. Otherwise, if the Clottey/Cotto winner were to take on Mosely, the winner of that fight could lay claim to being the recognized champ as well. Ideally, I would like to see someone will all 4 major belts before laying claim as the recognized chamo.

Zuniga gave Pavlik hell? Eh? He threw a lot for the first 3 or 4 rounds, missing and getting jabbed apart, by which time he couldn't match Pavlik's pace and was totally gassed. Pavlik wore him down and KTFO'd him.

And Pavlik didn't look **** against Rubio by any means. It wasn't as exciting a performance as you might expect; but when a fighter comes in to curl up in a ball and not get hit for most of the fight, it's got B-Hop fest written all over it. He was still coming forward and doing damage. Compare that with AA, who fought 4 seconds a round against a very much sub-class fighter that, if it weren't for the knockdowns, could have had him beat.

If Pavlik K Zuniga TFO then you were watching another fight. The fight ended between rounds with controversy as Rafael Garcia said ''Stop it'' and then negated this and he wasn't even head trainer for that one.Zuniga in fact wanted to continue.
