People that question the people that DO get in the ring are suspect at best in my book. My guess is you pound your keyboard because something else is too small to find.... excuse my while I go grow my ignore list by one.

Boo what happened with the Pavlik camp, you were saying they were contemplating on signing against Rubio yesterday?

I guess that's a typo in your post. You mean Mora I assume. I jumped the gun on that. The meeting wasn't Monday. It's later this week.

I think that the two fights between Pavlik & Taylor elevated both fighters. Those were both damn good fights for different reasons. And boxing was the real winner.

Hopefully Pavlik fights Winky, A.A. or Williams next.

I will co-sign that in a heartbeat. I wasn't even a Taylor fan until the first Pavlik fight. I agree with DiBella; these two could fight 10 times, and it would be exciting every time. A lot of people on this board were pulling for JT in the 2nd fight purely because they wanted to see a trilogy.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Winky Wright was willing to take a paycut and travel to Ohio to face Pavlik, but that fight never happened. Williams as a welterweight wanted to move up 2 weight divisions to challenge Pavlik, but that fight never happened. Arthur Abraham has been calling Pavlik out for quite some time now -- recently Abraham's team offered Pavlik $4 million, and so logically Pavlik has to take the deal right...? Right...!?

Nope, Pavlik decides to take 1/4 of the proposed Abraham purse to fight a junior middleweight in Sergio Mora. Ok, so Pavlik is going to face a junior middleweight moving up. At least Mora is coming off of a great win in order to receive such a shot, right? Nope, Mora is coming off of a thorough ass-kicking at the hands of Vernon Forrest. So the fraud champion Pavlik is taking on a junior middleweight coming off of a loss in his next title defense.

    What a joke.

Winky Wright? He has had about 5 or 6 opportunities to fight Pavlik, but priced himself out every time. The last time an offer was made Winky turned down $2.4 million and a cut of the PPV revenue.

Paul Williams? Fight was a done deal. Williams challenged Pavlik. Arum and HBO gave Goosen everything he asked for. Kelly was in training to fight Williams and then Goosen came back and demanded more money. HBO said no, Arum said **** off.

Arthur Abraham? Ducked Fulgencio Zuniga, and just let the #43 middleweight go the distance with him, and managed to lose 4 rounds in the process.. Sorry, but when you have a competetive fight with the #43 contender, you're #42, not #1.

Nope. Winky ended up willing to travel to Ohio and take a SIGNIFICANT paycut for a chance at winning the lineal championship, but Pavlik got cold feet because he didn't want to get embarrassed. Same thing with Paul Williams; it seems Team Pavlik was once again hesitant.

And your excuses about why Pavlik shouldn't face Abraham is amusing indeed. If Abraham isn't good enough to face Pavlik, then who is? Mora? Lockett? You Pavlik fans are hilarious!

The problem with your post above is that you simply do not know what you're talking about. Sure, Winky ran his mouth about fighting in youngstown. Problem? The largest venue in youngstown holds 7200 people. Winky knew that when he shot off his mouth. After Winky turned down $2.4 million plus a cut of the PPV, he wanted to fight AA. Sauerland offered half of what Winky already turned down. Gee, I wonder why Sauerland would low ball Winky?

The Willaims story is ancient history. Paul wanted the fight. Goosen came to his senses and got Paul a stay of execution by making unreasonable demands AFTER a deal was already set.

You can't change history. You may detest the facts, but the facts will never be at the mercy of a hater with an agenda. KP left your boy slumped on the canvass wondering what the **** just happened; "Did I get knocked out?"
