«It will be Green or De Leon next for Bute»

You're thinking of Fernando Zuniga,the other guy not Zuniga that fought Bute,Pavlik,Inkin eetc.

 

I think you're really overrating Bute and underrating Green.. Green is no trick pony but he's pretty slick when he's on his A game... combination punching isn't his forte but Bute isnt any better than him in that department and when Green hurts his foe with a hard shot, he finishes them with a barrage of punches. He's a better finisher than Bute..

Green does have more snap and his punches cause more damage.. IT's shorter and more compact... Codrington, Ravelo, Miranda, davis, and daniels would agree. Bute has never showed signs of being a harder puncher than Green...

And the reason he's been fighting has beens for the past two years was because he was in a recovery mode after that major operation.. On top of that he was going through promotional issues...

Ive seen Green's amatuer fights and he handles himself well against southpaws. It's not a problem and i dont see how Bute's a better technical boxer than him.. He's good at timing southpaw's jab and straight left and throws sneaky counters.. Bute sometimes leaves his head wide open because he overcommits to the body and that would be a no no against Green.

Ive seen bute get lazy with his jab and Green would take advantage of that. He'd time that jab and unleash his lethal left hook short straight right combination and that would be the beginning of the end of Bute... Bute's been hurt by lesser punchers than Green..

 

No...it was FERNANDO Zuniga...not Fulgencio...not quite the same thing...Fernando Zuniga's been beaten by quite a few journeymen along the way...and never beat anyone remotely decent.

So, Finito, if Green is a better finisher than Bute, and only have a ko ratio of 67%, 79% for Bute, that means Bute has a lot more power than Green. Well, thank you for the demonstration. Finally you see the light.

First off, Green must win this fight the way Bute won against Zuniga. Anything less will prove that Green deserve to be ranked 10th or less. I just hope for you that there's no surprise from De Leon cause you'll need another change of name...

Bute's Ko ratio being 79% doesnt necessarily mean that he's the harder PFP puncher.. U got to think about the competition.. Most of his KOs came against complete tomato cans..

ANy trained eye would know that Green's punches have more snap to them.. His power is slightly better than Bute's.

 

Green is the kind of guy who will overprice himself out of this fight.

Bika won the contender. I mean more like the other contestants. Think McCrary/Johnsen level.

 

Every single one of those guys has something between a china to below-average chin. Saying he's knocked those guys out is no great shakes, and he was only able to flash KD Miranda, who's been knocked straight out twice and knocked down a number of other times. Also, when was the last time he finished a fight strongly? He showed poor ability to finish against Miranda, and I don't remember him finishing strongly since the Codrington blowout.

I did say he has a little more power and a little better chin in my post, I just don't see those being enough to make up the bigger differences in skill and quickness.

Even better that he lost to some other Zuniga. Fulgencio is much better than Fernando, and De Leon still lost to him.

 

When was the last time Green fought a 12 rounder?.....Never.
Did Green ever win some sort of title to be ranked higher in the sanctionning bodies?... Never.
The only legitimate top 15 boxer Green fought was Edison Miranda... Did he win? .... No.

That mean Bute is no easy fight for Green.

Bute ko ratio is higher than Green, AND he fought better opponents. You think his ko's came only against tomato cans? First, Green have fought ONLY against tomato cans. Obviously his ko's came against tomato cans, right?
Second, in all Bute's career, the only stretch he had without ko's is when he injured one of his hand and wore the most padded gloves. He did it for five fights. Before that, 15 ko's in 15 fights. After that, 3 ko's in 4 fights. So, even in his last four bouts, against strong fighters, his ko ratio is higher than Green's.

A trained eye knows that real power is not so obvious. When you have time to see the power, that's because the fighter is wide and predictable. It dosn't mean nothing than Green hits harder than Bute if he doesn't touch Bute.
