    Can Freitas handle the heat?

Frietas hasn't fought in 2 years. He would lose.

Maybe a good fight for awhile but I think Valero stops Freitas. Edwin needs to go after Barrios at some point! lol Make him pay for calling him a long haired prostitute! lol

I've never seen this guy fight. I've been hearing about him, and I looked at his record but I've never seen him in action. He has some softies on his resume, but he definitely has some serious power. Is he really as explosive as his record indicates?? Nevertheless, I think he would beat "popo" based on his inactivity and latest performances in fights.

Edwin is a beast. A lot of people have no seen him because he just got cleared to fight in the states last year. He'll be fighting for the LW WBC title on April 4th vs Antonio Pitalua in Texas on the Lightweight Lighting card. It's worth buying.

Look at this way. Diaz is a pressure fighter but has no where near the power of Edwin.

AS wild and crude as he is, Barrios took a prime Freitas to hell and back...

Valero beats any version of Freitas by a earth shattering KO..:deal

I just looked up some clips of him on youtube. He looked raw, but it was a six round fight so that probably explains it. Any fighter who is a seek and destroy fighter would look rough around the edges at that point in their career. After watching those clips I'm anxious to see more.

A lot of his fights on the there make him look raw. His most recent fight you can see he is becoming more polished. Expect him to retire Pitalua on the 4th in big style. He's an exciting fighter. He doesn't care, he's going for the KO!

Agreed. Diaz made him quit. That means Valero would be charged with homicide! lol Diaz is feather fisted compared to Valero..lol

That was an Acelino Freitas who was as close to cooked as humanly possible.

If it happens today? Freitas doesn't see the 8th round.

If it's Freitas in his prime, It's possible he eeks out a decision. Remember Freitas has beaten much better opposition in his prime (specifically Joel Casamayor).
