Give up.... P4P is just a waste of time. Fanboys seem to love it though. And NO ONE fights ONLY the top guys. Get over it Isal, quitcher crying...

 You dummies just won't take a telling. The clue is in the title, but you have misunderstood it completely. There's no point in me explaining why your post makes absolutely no sense at all as, judging by your levels of comprehension, you still wouldn't get it and it would descend into a pointless argument. You keep thinking what you think, and I'll keep knowing the true definition. :good

Amsterdam and his pet chip Chinahandjoe had the LAMEST criteria for their P4P.. :rofl

"A 175 pound Mijares would ANNIHILATE Dawson..."

"Gamboa @ 160 kills Taylor...." **** like that.

Then I would say Either Hopkins, Calzaghe or JMM deserve to be #1 p4p. This guys use their brains to beat fighters. That is the ultimate skill to have.

He did not fight one of the best at 135.
He did not dominate at 126. JMM-Pac was there and he didnt dominate him.
Its funny how you word that DLH was the best at 147. That was YEARS ago that is not even relevant at the moment.
Hatton I dont think is the best at 140 anymore. He was years ago and he has been slipping since the Collazo fight at 147. Even when he fought Urango he looked like crap.

He has a good resume but lately it has not been so good. Which i think is what Uli is getting at. The p4p #1 should be fighting tough fights.

    Dude,

I thought you were talking sensilbly until you put calzage and JMM.

    calz and PBF officially retired!

In case you are not aware!

JMM were given two times to beat PAC and he never did! His ass kissed the canvass FOUR times ALREADY and you want to call him # 1p4p?!

Telling me you are joking and I'll forgive you! :hat

P4P is subjective. There's no universal criteria for the P4P ranking. If someone thinks Kermit Cintron is the P4P King then hey, let em be.

First off what does that have to do with this thread??? Secondly who thought that a zombie would show up in place of Oscar???? Lastly I was wrong, no one ever picks every fight right here...BUT Oscar hadnt won a meaningful fight in years, and its pretty clear that he killed himself making the weight...

Or and one more thing...What does that have to do with this thread???

If I had to pick I would say JMM based on the fact that I thought he won both fights vs Pac...I for one Had Mayweather no 1 then Calzaghe after he retired. Now that Joe left the game I really think that the top spot is vacate.

ol man mab? against Marquez, he was only three years older than when he first fought pac.

even though casa wasn't what he once was against Marquez, at least he was winning and had the lineal title.
