Who's the better and dangerous fighter, Ricky Hatton or Juan Diaz?

You forgot to mention that besides Hatton clearly being the better fighter, he is also bigger than Pac and undefeated at 140. JMM was bigger than Diaz who lost to Nate who was terrible against Funeka.

yes, hatton was embarrased by may. if diaz were to fight him at light/light welter, he would have been castrated. end of story.

I think Juan Diaz is overrated a bit, mainly because of his victory over Popo, and also because he pulled off wins one after another over contenders who were'nt so-so but also not what you would call elite. After his loss to Campbell, he won against a game but clearly limited Katsidis.

 

I think they're pretty even... a lot depends on the ref. If Hatton is allowed to use his mauling style he can be tough to beat. If not, it's a much easier fight for his opponent. Ricky hits harder, Diaz throws more punches, they both apply a lot of pressure.

 

He hasn't looked good at 147, that's for damn sure. He looked pretty sharp against Paulie. Still a high quality 140 lb. fighter.

 

i would rank ricky as a tougher challenge but not by much at this point in his career. if pac decisions ricky, i will rank it equal to knocking out diaz. if he knocks out ricky, i will make that the more impressive feat.

 

Ricky Hatton is way dangerous than juan diaz. Hatton is bigger and stronger and is undefeated at 140 lbs. So many people are putting him down after losing to mayweather. I think it's pathetic, it's not like hatton loss to a nobody. He loss to the # 1 P4P in the world who is also bigger than him.

This is really a no brainer. Hatton is much more dangerous than diaz and much more powerful. Juan Diaz is not known for his knockout power like hatton is and that makes hatton a more dangerous fighter. :good
