Sadly I'm would not surprised if this was true. Man I really like Pavlik too but he's lost a lot of momentum in my eyes. Every champion has his fair share of cupcake bouts with mandatories and tune ups or stay busy fights but this is blatant ducking on Arum and team Pavlik's part. Hell I'd be happy if he fought Sturm at this point.

 

Duddy could have had Pavlik next but Burns is moving him back down to 154. Wise move, I doubt he takes the fight later in the year. Burns is very good for Duddy from what I can see.

If this is true it's sad for boxing and also for the mentality of the people that feel happy about it.

 

Someone tell Vincent Gottschalk that Arum is targetting a tough trio of defences against Giovanni Lorenzo, Verno Phillips and Joel Julio for 2010 and he might just explode in an eruption of jizz and leave us all alone....

I was just on that web site Vncent, and the only Pavlik article was from back on the 12th. It's the article where that fat ****ing blow hard Rafeal announced Pavlik/Mora as if it were a done deal. Rafeal was talking out his ass, as usual. Kelly didn't even know the fight was being discussed until a reporter called to ask him about it.
