    I have to agree with you, Interbox is about Bute in this moment he is their money making man, so he must have a big influence over his fights. I can't say the same about Arum's fighters.

    Brinkley has losses to Sergio Mora and Alfonso Gomez, and the 2nd Bonsante fight was a terrible decision. This guy can't go one round with Bute. I really hope this noise is all just bull**** based on Brinkley yapping about all the big names lately.

    If Showtime didn't approve Stieglitz, what makes you think they'd approve Brinkley? Unless he can get a fight against Bika, Miranda, Ward or Dirrell, the fight probably won't be televised in the US, or would just be picked up on FNF. Also, I could see a Mendy fight getting picked up as a Shobox, considering Mendy's been on Shobox 3 times before and they like to pick up fights when Shobox alums get title shots. He's not really a journeyman, he just hasn't faced anyone that great.

    Did you people see Manfredo sr.(Brinkley's trainer)'s interview after the Gilbert fight.I believe it's still on youtube.

    The good news was broken by Maxime, yesterday. Apparently, Larouche (Bute's trainer and Interbox technical director) said Brinkley's not on the cards, because he's a "club fighter".

    Forget Brinkley, Stieglitz, Mendy...it's really between Bika and Miranda.

    It might be Dirrell because he is close to Showtime. If the american tv bring the money this fight is possible.

    They didn't say no to Stieglitz because he's German, they said no to Stieglitz because he didn't even put up a fight against Andrade, which Showtime also televised.

    No...Andrade v. Stieglitz was on HBO PPV. Also...he DID put up a fight against Andrade...that's why he blew his chance of winning...it was completely the wrong strategy.

    Showtime said they picked against Stieglitz because "he was European, unknown in the USA and not considered a potential threat to Bute" (I paraphrased)
