Sorry to get off course guys. This is old news and has nothing to do with boxing. There was a big Saint Patrick's Day parade here in Staten Island and having seen that it got me curious to read something about Ireland. So I discovered these two books annd both were an excellent read. Do you know that by 2020 there will be an estimated 250,000 new immigrants in Dublin while about 120,000 native Dubliners will leave for the suburbs and other parts of Ireland? This is what it said in David McWilliams' book. There are many advertisements on russian websites saying how jobs in the service sector are plentiful. As a result there are many Lithuanians, Poles, Latvians, Ukrainians, etc. I'm not saying this is a bad thing. I have never even been to ireland. It was just something reported in the book.

the influx of hot polish women definately isint a problem in my book!

    back to topic

lads i hope to god bernards made weight the right way

  7. A Polish guy I met when I was in the U.S... told me that the Polish are taking over Ireland, the population is around 6 Mill and there is something like 50-80 thousand poles over there.... maybe more I don't have the exact figures !!!

The truth is as soon as the money dries up they will all go home, probably already happening

I hadn't liked the look of Dunne for quite a while. Had been hearing from his camp 'ah its alright its all part of the plan McGurn and the nutritionists know what they are doing.

Clearly not. He's ****ed. He was up against it even if he came in at his peak. He'll be going in miles off his peak. I expect him to get blasted out inside 4. He was even at the meteor awards last night. Don't know where his head is but I'm gutted.

If this was part of the plan then someone needs to be shot. Wrong ****ing plan. I actually don't know if I have the stomach to go watch him get annihilated

I'm sick :-( he looks in awful shape. I can see him getting blown away. And even if he manages to last a few rounds I can see the tank emptying very quickly.

Anyone want to tell me I'm missing something here and cheer me up? Does someone know something that the rest of us don't? Or is it just that he is that horribly dehydrated ahead of the biggest fight of his career

7/4 the KO is massive value from PP. I haven't the stomach to do it though. I've been watching this lad fight since he was an amateur. stayed up all night looking up sites for news about him when he boxed in the US trying to get results rather than wait until the morning. I find it hard to define the level of support and attachment I have for him. I'm up for all the Irish lads but Bernard has always been the one I've really been invested in. I'm sick that it looks like his big night is over before it has started.
I really don't know if I can go out and watch him fight on saturday
