One guy who has not yet been mentioned that comes to mind is Ron Guerrero (20-16-3). He has fought all over the US (though never internationally) as an opponent. He fought Chaz Witherspoon, Kevin Johnson, Eddie Chambers, Serguei Lyakhovich, Jeremy Williams, Attila Levin, Ray Austin and Jameel Mccline. A pretty decent list. He, I admit, has looked a bit like a tomato can against Lyakhovich and Witherspoon, but he also drew, years ago, with Mccline--when Mccline had something like 25 fights under his belt. Guerrero just went the distance with Frans Botha, but, then again, Botha is ancient and was a goofball with a padded record, concrete feet and a wide-open defense when he was a contender. What do you guys think?
If brock came back, he would be a formidable journeyman..Perhaps Chambers and Peter will be the future gatekeepers for hvywt..
I am just glad no one mentioned Friday as a journeyman.... LOL.. He has boxed most all top class names , Terrence Lewis, Lyachovich, Ibragimov, Guinn, Povetkin, Nate Jones , Shane Cameron, Alonzo Butler, Lance Whittacker.. Never been stopped legitimately ......
In the 90's Mark Young and Marion Wilson were the main men ..... since 2000 i say Barrett and Jameel have been round the block a few times... Michael Sprott actually gets around a lot in europe too.... or even Cisse Salif........
Dominic Guinn fits that bill right now. I always thought Charles Shufford, Elicier Castillo, Friday Ahunanya, and Lawrence Cley-Bey fit this bill.
Jeremy "The Master" Bates. He fought Holyfield, Golota, Austin, G. Jones, Solis, Meehan, Minto etc and he's a full time auto mechanic.
What are you smoking? The guy had over 70 wins and is a HOF. He had the best chin in history. Totally disrespectful.
