too small? Marquez have been showing up around 147-150 on the night of the fight. Floyd's highest weight was 149 on fight night. Hardly suggest Marquez is too small. Shorter yeah.
Mayweather Vs: Marquez (140-144 pounds) Pacquiao (140-147 pounds?) Mosley (147 pounds) They all sound good to me. If Cotto has a good finish to the year beating Clottey then a guy like Berto, id love to see Mayweather Vs Cotto in 2010. :bbb Anyone think any of those 3 can hand the Pretty Boy his first defeat?
sorry, but mayweather is not the best at 147, go down to 135-140, then u have a case. howevery, it appears he cant make weight for either of those classes anymore, so i guess he'll never be the best again. oh yeah, need i mention, hes aging?
I'd like to see you mention what fight could possibly be bigger today than a Mayweather/Pacquiao showdown?, any other bigger fight in terms of money out there? i was never debating his power as a draw, as long as the person mayweather fights is a draw, the fight will sell. Can a bigger fight be made in the post oscar era? my answer is a resounding no, but because it can be huge it doesnt mean it should be made. hell, tyson/holyfield lll will sell out MSG and do a million ppv buys, but obviously its not the best thing for the sport. Hell, even a fight between Mayweather/Mosley would be huge. doubt it, mosleys not a draw and may only draws when hes fighting another big fighter with a loyal fanbase i.e. hatton, hoya, paq. may doesnt have a huge fanbase like the three just mentioned. If you don't like it then don't pay attention to it. if we all lived by this, there would be no point for this forum. im sure youve violated this rule yourself before.
man, the pressure just mounted for pac to win against hatton. a loss for him woud most likely mean he'll have to face jmm to get going again while a wwin can land him straight to a big match against pbf
If he does return this summer it will be Marquez over Mosley. The easier and smarter choice for a tuneup. He won't be fighting Shane anytime soon especially if Pac wins.
The more I think about it Marquez could really make him look bad in a tuneup. Can't picture JMM pulling it off but still. I'd scratch out Berto, Clottey, Collazo, Cintron and southpaws like Urango and Judah. He can make a fool outta Delvin Rodrigues I guess. Even though he is smaller and in his mid 30's gotta give it to him for returning against Marquez I guess.
Except that Tiger is nowhere near Floyd's level. Last year, Floyd made "300 mil liquid" Tiger is a broke ***** by comparisson. :deal
I think JMM will have the first crack. considering the long inactivity JMM is is good tune up, low risk-high reward.
This might be the stupidest thing I've seen written in this forum this year. - didn't notice the IRS comment in Rafael's article? It seems "Mr. Money" forgot to hire a decent accountant. Oops. - Tiger is widely considered the best golfer ever. No one says Floyd is the best fighter ever. No one with any sense, anyway. - you do know Tiger is estimated as the richest athlete ever and is on track to be the first to earn over a $1billion? He probably hired a decent accountant, too. Why am I bothering with this? I guess you were fishing for a reaction. Congrats. You got one.
