He had Haymon make an offer to Hatton's father in January for a rematch but Team Hatton had to decline because they were so deep into negotiations with Pac, this was reported in Boxing News.

Cmon we all knew floyd would be back, the sham retirement was just an escape hatch to avoid getting knocked out by Margarito or Cotto.

Yea hatton pretty much knocked himself out by going head first into the ring post.. How silly.

Hatton kinda sucks.. Poor man's Ruiz.

If I were FMJ, Id have a warm up fight vs either Cotto or Margarito 1st.

Margarito is going to be out for a while. Cotto is hardly a tune up. That fight will sell. I doubt Floyd would take a tune up for he have to train for it and waste time.

Anyway if PBF is comming back and losses, all the huggers will say he was past prime, he was inactive and other bs.

I was only joking, I understand that Cotto or Marg would be at least as difficult as Pac, JMM or Hatton.

In truth, Im tired of hearing of Mayweather`s name... I want him to come back but I will only show an interest when he signs on the dotted line... anyone can talk ****.

True... but if you are 1 of those guys that want Floyd to lose, surely that is still a much better scenario than him staying retired & shouting about being unbeaten & being better than Robinson blah blah blah.

maybe he really do want just big fights. Cotto declined floyd at 140 and margarito didn't have a name at the time. I would be happy if he fights pac, jmm, shane, or cotto.
