If he beats Hatton in convicing fashion I will most likely move him up, cause Hatton is a different type of fighter than the previous top fighters Pac has faced. I just wanna see him fight a Mosley/Mayweather type fighter. Actually Floyd because the size is closer than Shane. Shane is not real tall but he's very big physically.

I'd have Pac and JMM almost dead even to be honest. If Pac puts on a virtuoso performance again I gotta move him up though.

Then don't you think beating Shane would be the more difficult match up?

And Hatton's style is more common with style's pac's being criticized for fighting. Straight up puncher who attacks the body.

I'm saying Shane is bigger than Floyd and probably too big. I''d rather see Pac v Floyd because they are closer in size. Mexican fighters almost never clinch. Hatton does the whole grappling thing trying to bully the other guy around. It's a bit different.

OK. So seeing Pac fight some with a similar style to Mexicans, but one who clinches more, is better...how? :huh

See...this whole "He has to fight all styles before being P4P #1" that nonallege made is just too ridiculous. If it's just out of personal taste, that's cool. But to try and make it the basis...rubbish.

I did not say it was better but it's different and it's helps Hatton is not much past prime or not at all unless he goes completely off the diving board against Pac. The Styles thing is not the only basis we have talked about. It's also fighting a young, hungry good fighter like JMM did with Diaz. Another thing for me is the best fighter he has fought, as far as where they were at in their career is JMM and Pac has not beat him convincingly although I thought he did edge JMM out twice. I'm not just using one factor here.

Grappling and in-fighting is a style though and some do it well. Hatton is more of a pressure fighter than JMM so we will see how Pac handles that. Marquez always looks to counter even though they have went toe-to-toe at times.

Finito really sees things differently. Now I understand why he can't accept the fact that Pac won 1 and drew 1 in two fights with JMM.

It's certainly helps he fought a good, young, hungry, prime fighter and won. Pac needs to accomplish this.

lol pac going after bigger bait now. a hatton win is much bigger than a juan diaz win:rofl

Pac is a superstar in boxing. He only fights big money fights and the biggest names out there. After Hatton pac would most likely go after Cotto-Mosley-Mayweather. He doesn't need to go down and fight guys like diaz and valero as those will not mean anything but another W in his resume.

    Mosley-Mayweather-Cotto = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
    Valero-Diaz = $$

    See the difference? :good

Aha! So you mean to say both Mosley and Mayweather are good, young, hungry and prime fighters! They are good alright! They are also much bigger and stronger than Pac so a win by Pac over them is next to impossible in real sense. But let's be honest, do you consider Floyd and Mosley young, hungry and prime?
And why is it that you require Pac to accomplish what is almost impossible to be your P4P#1 while for JMM was to simply accomplish what was expected of him by everybody? (well, almost everybody)
