Mayweather beats Cotto hands down. I get the feeling Mosley might give him problems. The likely scenario is that he fights the Pac-Hatton winner (Pacquiao in my opinion), UDs Pacquiao and retires - this time for good.

Honestly I think a fight on this level especially against a rising star like Cotto was at that time, I think Vegas would have been on top of all of this from the get, and lets not forget Cotto himself has a good corner as well that knows the game.

So IMO No that didnt happen here, Still wondering what happend with the Mosley fight, cus Honestly if he did try to have something placed that can cause damage or could give him an advantage he should never be allowed to fight again anywhere, probably should be in jail, but if he is not guilty then damn it clear his name.

You gotta be a damn fool to think mayweather would do the same..... I was a big margarito and Cotto fan at the time that happend but was disapointed after the brick situation. few other fighters would have taken that same beating for 11 rounds.

I actually believe Mayweather is VERY overrated at welter, his fans make it seem like he's the same 130 Floyd, he never beaten a top welter. And no, saying "oh he would have, could have, etc" won't change that.

Where in the post did I say Mayweather would beat to Cotto like Margorito did? Stop making stuff up!

I'm just pointing out...Cotto just got beat down a couple of fights ago and you're talking like it never happened...Margorito has laid out a plan to beat Cotto and I'm pretty sure Mayweather will watch film on this fight and come up with OWN GAME PLAN!

This whole wrap incident surrounding the Mosley fight..not the Cotto fight. Sorry buddy!:nono

So if floyd wanted to beat Mosley back then (if it's true, you never know with a liar like floyd), then why don't he want to beat him up now? He's acting like he might lose. He should be chomping at the bit to get a piece of Mosley now. Not acting like he's avoiding another serious threat through artful dodging.

Mosley vs. Mayweather is the fight right now. Pac, Hatton or Marquez can wait. Unless floyd feels Mosley is too big of a risk to blow the Pac or Hatton fights.

Hatton isn't over-rated you **** dick. He didn't duck Margarito, he would of schooled him, he merely waited because he know like the rest of us he was going to lose eventually, and Sugar Shane raped that mother-****er and ruined his career.

He wouldn't lose to Cotto, and I'm a bit of a Cotto fan.

    Now STFU Noob.

No he didn't Shane was at 154 and got around the question of Floyd, after his first fight with Vargas he was asked by Merchant what about mayweather he replied well I have vacations plans and my tooth need to get fixed so that's telling me you don't wanna fight. I love to watch margarito fight but he showed me he can't beat a fighter with exceptional skills easy work for floyd and Shane proved that, Cotto never really challenge Floyd to make a fight so Floyd fought guys in return who wanted fight him. Hatton, Judah, Baldomir, Del la Hoya wanted to fight him so they fought his resume aint weak all these names were undisputed champs.

    what cotto did....
picked up a load of vacated alphabet trinkets fighting sub par opposition
got his arse handed to him by a limited fighter whose been shown he can be easily outboxed with the right game plan
quit rather than going out on his shield
