    that was a nice read. after reading it, you will feel that linares had stand his ground and not only gave pac a good workout but actually won several of the exchanges. i like the part where cobrita gonzales' younger brother was mesmerized by the intense war even if it was just a sparring.

    I don't know, was Pac actually fighting for real or did he stop at the second round?

    some people want PAC to lose in even in sparring, just to discredit him and hypeup their fighters.tsk...tsk...tskk

    WoW!!!! Just reading it makes one feel intense.

    Linares really has the making of a great champion, hopes he fights the likes of gamboa or maybe, by a long shot, victor ortiz or -again i'm entitled to dream ain't i?- juanma lopez.

    But wasn't Pac swarming and dominant in the first two rounds and it just turned into a tit for tat fight after Pac backed off in the third round? Even in the last round, it sounded like Pac was still pushing Linares towards the ropes.

    Linares-Lopez sounds like a great fight.
