I don't hold Haye's loss against him, you can count me out on that one. If not for his mouth I'd be a Haye fan... I generally lose my liking for fighters who mouth off (Sam Peter did for a while, for instance), and they have to regain my respect with their fists. Haye has yet to do this, but in time he very well could.
Amateur and pro are different worlds though. 2 minute rounds/3 minute rounds, trying to land the most punches to get points, maybe try to knock him out/trying to win the judges favor or knock him out. I'm not saying Wlad didn't have any stamina problems in the amateurs (I have no idea), but it is quite possible that if he did have a problem, it wouldn't have shown itself because of the different system. Sometimes things rear their ugly heads later on.
What I am saying is that when people say Haye will KO Wladimir, the counter argument is...Nobody has managed to do that in x number of amateur fights and over 50 pro fights stating that he has beaten the count each and every time. But,on the subject of the Purrity loss,Wladimir was young(21)and inexperienced. The same people knock Haye for losing at the age of 23 after just 11 pro fights. You see the double standard here?
I do and I don't like it. It drives me nuts to see people make irrational statements about either man. Rationally Wlad holds the advantages over Haye, but that doesn't mean either man is a bum by any means or that either is certain to win. Both men have a will to get up and keep fighting. Each were unable to at least once, and Wlad got absolutely pasted once. It's all in the past, what they do on D-Day (hopefully) will stand on its own. At least to some of us.
You're serious aren't you? That's hilarious, as if neither Klitschko would stand a chance head to head, prime for prime against Holyfield? Of course they would.
juss dont argue with Wlad fans for real..they don't know much about the sport other than there 2 lovers
I hope so. As Hearns said about Virgil Hill. Virgil has been asking for me, but I don't think he will be happy with what he gets. I think the same applies to Haye. He has been asking for Vlad, but he will not like what he asked for.
Haha! Ali hardly beat the living **** out of him. And I'm fairly confident either Klitschko would stand a decent chance against a prime Holyfield. Oh, hang on, Holyfield was born before the Klitschkos so I must be talking **** actually.
It will be a good night if this comes off.Flights to Berlin are fairly cheap and the 02 is a fantastic arena,it is also easy to get to using the ubhan.Loads of bars will be showing it because the fight will probably be on RTL which is free.
