For instance Marciano retired undefeated so he ranks higher based on resumé but I can't see him surviving against either brother head to head based on the fact that he'd be a Cruiser today.

Thats where the problem lies though, although i like Haye and think he brings some excitement to the division, he wouldn't have gotten out of round 1 against top contenders of years past, guys like Tua, Ruddock etc.

Hard to tell with Haye just because he hasn't fought at Heavy much.

I agree. I also happen to think a prime Tyson would probably have knocked Louis out in a round.

Not too sure about Tyson over Louis though, The Brown Bomber fought many great punchers such as Max Baer and he took them apart. Joe was very fast & had a great jab, short right hand & combinations of his own. I have watched many of his fights as well as Tyson's.

Naw, I hate Wlad and dont mind Vitali much, but without them in the division it would be alot worse. I know a big reason I watch the Heavyweight division so closely is to get the chance to see Wlad knocked out again, and I watch other fighters closely to see if they have what it takes to do so. I would love to see Haye on top, he has all the characteristics to be a star, and I'm pulling for the guy.

How can they be bad for the division when it was them who opened the huge German market for the heavyweights?

Without the Klitschko fame UBP, Sauerland and ARENA wouldn't have built up their heavyweight rosters the way they did and the division would be in much worse shape: no Americans AND no Europeans.

Klitschkos are H2H top 15? Perhaps. P4P? Hell no.

First of all I said the Klitschkos are both top 10 head to head, so is Lennox Lewis for that matter.

Secondly, "Pound for Pound" is just a bull**** rankings system created to make the lower weights relevant even though clearly the best heavy would beat the best cruiser 99% of the time. In other words, you can keep the BS P4P ratings................

No, they're the best guys at HW and the kings of the division, it's more stable now than it has been since Lennoz was linear champ.

They are the most successful current heavys...

But perhaps entertainment wise they are not so visually pleasing......

    They aren't ruining heavyweight boxing..

They are ruling the division by way of low risk boxing........

Popularity wise they are ruining their own rep at times by failing to appeal to everyones taste...

I thought Vitali Vs. Gomez was a very entertaining fight. Vitali is a very skilled heavyweight, with power, defense and stamina. Even Teddy Atlas admitted that!
