i wouldnt pick everyone against valero but im not stupid enough to say that a guy that hasnt fought anyone would beat Pac,JMM etc...fighters that have proved themselves over and over again in real fights and not sparring sessions.

Why is that being unrealistic? By beating a severely weight drained C+ fighter in Alex Arthur Cook already has a better resume than Linares, and by being competitive for 4 rounds with a decent prospect in Martinez, who I rate better than Linares. Linares doesn't have great power, has good skills no doubt, but hasn't even be tested.

Gamboa has a better resume than Linares already. You guys let gif-wrapped alphabet titles obscure your vision. Do you honestly rate Linares as a 'two-weight champion'???? Next you'll be saying Linares could beat Arguello at 130, or that Valero is a fighter in the same vein as Wilfredo Gomez, Julian Jackson and Bob Foster.

Both things would be gross overestimations. Valero will struggle against the Elite fighters that he seems to want to get in their with, Linares will struggle with the Elite fighters he'll never get in the ring with.




I can almost hear it now, the likes of Gamboa and Soto would duck Linares

Ive explained it many times as to why Valero has better skills but you weren't around here long enough to have seen it.. Im not going to repeat myself for a mental mideget who can't understand it anyways..
