....and you can say that after the sloppy assed clubfight-style shitfest against Barrett?

Gomez looked ok and seemed a decent opponent.Haye is too small to worry Vittali and i think the punches will be to heavy for him.I like Haye but he is better off chasing Wlad than Vittali.I agree Vittali did not look brilliant tonight but got the job done against a good fighter,a fighter of higher class than anyone Haye has faced at heavy.

  3. Haye hasn't beaten any heavyweight worth a ****:-( Barrett is just a journeyman, and Haye was KO'D by Carl Thompson, VK will smoke that pretender in 8 or 9 rounds, Haye has a **** chin..

I thought it was a dreadfull fight. Both fighter looked shot, plus it was a bad matchup style wise. Neither fighter can fight on the inside. Vitali is starting to look his age and Gomez really looked like ****.

Just the latest heavyweight contest featuring two utterly **** fighters. Gomez was massively disappointing, this was nothing like the lean slim speedy Gomez that slick SSS all those year ago. He looked much like Ray Austin did to me, a rabbit caught in the headlights. As for the Klit, Gomez hardly connected with anything tonight and he was hardcore gassed.

All Haye would have to do is box carefully and opportunistically for the first few rounds before opening up in the middle part of the fight when those 38 years and 40 fights catch up with him.

I have a question for you Klit nuthuggers... Do you honestly believe that VK would get away with defending THAT BAD against David Haye?!?! His guard is NON-EXISTANT!

The sheer speed, mobility and concussive single shot power of Haye would see him dispatch this guy so easily you'd be left wondering all the Klitschko fuss was about.

He fought a guy with only one defeat, who had 200 amateur fights before turning pro, and was the cruiser weight champion of the world, and has a chin. Sure he didn't look great, but Gomez is not a fighter that makes people look pretty. Give credit where it's due.

Indeed. Midrounds, that's when it would happen. If he boxed smart he'd just dance around VK and take no risks for the first 3-4 rounds. After that VK is a walking deadman with that defense (no defense).

No he doesn't have that high a punch output but he moves too fast for VK to pin down, on tonights showing and the Peter fight at least.

Haye certainly fights at a higher tempo than either of those two fights.

:good I don't know why more doesn't get said about how low Vit's hands constantly seem to be.

Someone with Hayes handspeed is bound to catch him, I won't say at will, but without too many problems.

That defense will allow him to go off the Haye's reach. Gomez is bigger then Haye. And i doubt that Vitaly, who took best shots of lennox, will be impreset with overrated hayes power. AND BY THE ****ING WAY haye is not lighting. His speed is hand speed is on level of Gomez.
