theyre called the fab four cause they were great fighters that fought each other, theyre not called the fab four cause they were the best in the 80´s cause if it was the case Duran wouldnt be there.

is that too hard to understand.

if you want to make a fab four with Floyd then it should be.

    Floyd-Baldomir-Gatti-Judah.

it pains me to do it, but i have to leave barrera and morales off the shortlist because so much of what makes both first ballot hall of famers belongs to the 1990's.

all the insulting one another about mayweather is ridiculous guys, come on. the only thing at stake is whether or not you like mayweather's personality, attitude, style and choices about opponents. but it is almost undisputable that mayweather was the talent of his generation of boxers. he beat a really impressive list of guys, really impressively and naysayers discredited every fight they called for after mayweather failed to be upset--and in so doing upset their expectations. i disliked mayweather, i hated his attitude, i think he's a whiner and a poor example of what a warrior ought to be, but he was the best...i can't deny it. his athletic gifts were nearly peerless in his time.

Without question Pacquiao, Morales, Barrera, and Marquez. The greatest fab 4 since Hagler, Hearns, Duran, and Leonard.

If we are talking 4 great fighters that fought each other I can't see an argument for anyone other than Morales, barrera, PAcquio and Marquez.

Sure there were other great fighters in the decade but they didn't give us a round robin type of group of great fights, just like in the 80's we still had Larry Holmes, mike Tyson, Sal Sanchez, I could go on and on about other great 80's fighters but they don't make up a fab 4 like the group mentioned in the first post.
