Nate Campbell has proven he can beat good competition (Juan Diaz, Ali Formega and Kid Diamond). Valero hasn't proven to be even close to the level of Nate Campbell.

We're not discussing the ceilings of Valero and Campbell, we're discussing what they are right now. Right now Campbell>Valero.

Ali Funeka would handle the midget with ease, not some asian milkman Valero is used to fighting.

Hahaha how much pride I will feel when Valero officially 'steps up'. Looking at Pitalua's record I will not be surprised if he beats Valero (he's good enough to have beaten Santa Cruz) but not having actually seen him I won't make a firm prediction.

Once Valero fights one of the top LW contenders that we have actually seen and heard of, say Katsidis, Casamayor, Juan Diaz, Funeka, Hell, even David Diaz or Barrios, I will be very happy to say we told you so.

 

Valero is one league lower than Funeka. At best.
