barrett was able to land shots,, and haye said that his jab felt like a straight right from a cruiser and that it shook him..now imagine a vit or wlad shot ='s lights out

yes he looked slugish but if one of them jabs land then haye is going to be in trouble.

vitali may lose the first few rounds but had eaten shots harder than haye dreams of throwing so can not see him getting sparked out but as vitali keeps going he will land more and more and haye will be out on the floor by round 9

Klitschko is not the same fighter he was 5 years ago. He was gassed also, before this fight I thought Haye would mean no problem for him, but I have to change my opinion. Now I see Vitaly vs. Haye a 50-50 fight.

Dreadfull fight. Both both fighter looked shot. For all that boxing has accomplished so far this year with exciting fights, this fight has boxing taking a backward step.

It's sad to see what sort of ridiculous conclusions people draw from this fight.

If Haye said that himself then it's hard to argue with it, but I would say that the same element of surprise won't be there in his next Heavyweight fight, whether against one of the Klitschkos or not, and he'll probably work at avoiding them a bit more.

I expect Haye to fight with his brain a bit more at HW than he did at CW, where he was generally more powerful than his opponent and had to devote a lot of training to making the weght.

Gomez and Haye should have faught instead. Would have been a much more interesting fight instead of this blowout by Vitali.I didnt give Gomez one round, the first round might have close but Gomez never landed much so i would score it even.Wonder why Valuev wasnt ringside to hype up a unification fight.

Gomez gave a good account of himself.Vittali was not brilliant but got the job done.I dont see how Vittali taking a few rounds to stop a "blown up cruiser"improves Haye`s chances at all.I think Haye will get a shock when he feels the weight of the punches from a fighter Vittali`s size.Ive said it loads of times i see Haye going the same way as Herbie Hide.

    Haye's too scared.

He's shittin'-his-drawers nervous about signing with the easier brother.

He'd be in therapy, weeks before a Vitali fight.

The only winner there would be Haye's Lanudry service !
