I see your points but don't all fighters have that one fight were they looked like ****? Peter against wlad was very competive to the very end and most think wlad is the better fighter, I know Im a huge peter hugger but I think alot are writing peter off to fast
1-Wlad 2-Vitali 3-Povetkin 4-Chagaev 5-Sultan 6-Valuev 7-Peter 8-Thompson 9-Chambers 10-Dimitrenko 11-Ruiz 12-Brewster 13-Gomez 14-Mccline 15-Arreola 16-Haye 17-Austin 18-Virchis 19-Maskaev 20-Ahunanya
We'll know how Peter looks come Friday night. :good I am leaning towards Chambers, with his speed and impressive countering skills, to make clown shoes out of Peter.
chambers could easily do that but if peter could outbox the shoes off of toney in the second fight then I hold up the faith that, that peter shows up
woot...I got Peter by pts against Chambers. Peter even heavy brings heavy hands and good work rate. More importantly, he can find punching range a lot easier against a very small hw. Losing to by far the 2 best hws isn't a death sentence.
that's what I'm saying alot here seem to think peter has lost to cans,, hell he gave wlad alot of trouble and ya he did lay a egg against vit but come on give the guy some credit
I rank Chambers quite highly and imo is a better win than Virchis and pretty close to Ruiz. Im also putting a lot of weight in H2H. I just think Povetkin's work rate would overwhelm both and feel they don't have the power or workrate to keep him off. To be honest, both Chagaev and Valuev recent poor showings are a significant factor as well.
In terms of excitement or ability or resume? What are we rankin these guys on? Anyways: 1-Wlad 2-Vitali 3-blah (Chagaev) 4-blah (Valuev) 5-blah (Sam Peter) 6-blah (Alexander Povetkin) 7-who cares (Barney Rubble) 8-whatever (Dimitrenko) 9-blah (Arreola) 10-blah (Eddie Chambers) Seriously after 1 and 2, flip a friggin coin.
