terrible analysis, to say munroe would beat him handily is ridiculous

why have the fight in england in front of 2,000 people and not in dublin in front of 9,300

munroe brings nothing to the table and needs to beat someone in the top 10, he also only brings 200 fans compared to dunnes 9,000

The consensus on here prior to tonights event was that Munroe would beat Dunne with some to spare. During the course of the fight tonight Munroe hasn't got any worse, and Dunne hasn't got any better, the only person whose reputation has changed is Cordobas who was patently not as good as some suggested before the first bell.

Well Munroe did beat the guy that blasted Dunne out in a round...twice, so he doesn't NEED to beat someone in the top 10 for the fight to be made, I think Munroe can be built up as quite the opponent (to the general public) from just the fact he beat the man who beat the man.

Munroe is a popular fighter, but there is many English fighters who are, so obviously he is not going to have as many fans going to his fights than Dunne, who is one of only a very small group of Irish fighters that are popular and actually achieving something.

I'm sober as a judge my friend, I have believed this from the very first time I saw Munroe.
He is not in Dunne's league and I will say that tonight, tomorrow morning and every day until Dunne proves me right!!!
Stop making excuses, Dunne was ****ing brilliant and saying that Cordoba was not as good as some suggested is a cop out of the highest order.

    What?!

This is pure madness. Are you saying Dunne can't improve? Cordoba was a worse fighter than when he beat fellow world champion Caballero, or when he fought world rated Sidorenko to draws (aka questionable decisions in Germany)?

Stop trying to avoid giving credit, its pitiful stuff. Dunne put up a performance of great intensity, much better than Munroe has looked recently against some ordinary European competition outside Martinez.

You said Dunne hasn't got better in the course of the fight. Well actually, thats exactly what he did just do. He beat a world class opponent and put on the best performance of his career by FAR. That is improvement.
