Cordoba was significantly worse than I thought he would be given the pre fight hype. Having said that Bernard looked a whole lot better than the last time I saw him which isn't difficult given that on that occasion he was on his back staring at the stars.
I prefer to give credit and be positive. Dunne was by far and away better than expected. Cordoba is what he is. A guy that has beat Caballero (a while ago now). A guy that fought draws with world rated Sidorenko. His pedigree is there and can't be dismissed, all credit to Dunne.
Dunne has improved immensely, he hits harder, has better conditioning, a tighter defense, and takes more risks.
so you based your analysis on cordoba on hype :-( didnt take us long to change your views did it :hi:
After all the stuff said about dunne on the irish thread about him looking weight drained but Dunne was amazing tonight. Always like Dunnes style. Cordoba is a lot softer than i thought didn't see Dunne KO'ing him at all
And from such an unbiased source. You should have made this a public poll so I could see which other two supremely intelligent members of the forum voted the same way as I did :hey
To be honest, that is what shocked me more than anything...I never thought I would live to see a chinny Panamanian :yep
i had planned on doing so but pressed submit before doing it now at least you can long on with your alias and vote how dunne didnt improve even though you went back on your word already, ah that feels good owned
Throughout the fight I wondered from ringside just how Cordoba's chin was taking it. He got caught flush many times. That said, he was winning the judges' scorecards clearly by rd 11.
B y the way i have never experienced an atmosphere like that tonight .bring on munroe . were is all his fans now . i thought so . NOT A ****IN WORD OUT OF THEM. KEEP UNDERESTEMATEN THE IRISH ,
His chin obviously degraded over the duration of the fight in the same way as Dunnes skills became silkier :good
