His brother Vitaly then stated that he wanted to fight Valuev next,his favourite next opponent.
Yes,I did! Gomez is an akward fighter whose style surely isnt tailor made for Vitaly.All in all,Vitaly showed a quite impressive performance,especially in the later rounds.Give honour where honour is due! Gomez was a far better opponent than Vitaly's last foe Sam Peter or his little brother's last opponent Rahman. I for one am content with both the outcome of their fight and Vitaly's as well as Gomez' performance.

If Wlad fights Chambers, then he loses the little respect I had for him. Chambers lost to Wlad's mandatory, where does he deserve a shot before Povetkin. I don't want to say he is avoiding Haye but this may be the case. Vitali would brutalize the Giant.
If Vitali wants Valuev he can start rooting for the bigfoot to defeat Chagaev bc that fight is really a toss up nowadays. Plus, Vitali can start preparing a boatload of money to offer Valuev, otherwise he will be happy milking his title with much lesser fights. A good idea would be to put together a card featuring Valuev vs Chagaev and Vitali vs Maskaev. Not only that would be big but would help increase the odds of Vitali getting a chance at the WBA strap as well as get rid of the ridiculous Maskaev WBC mandatory. Other than that Vitali could go after Arreola, Dimitrenko or Haye, which are good options.
